I've been using this app for so many years... I used to use it almost every day. It was really great. But now, I can't save a picture. Because I have to pay 🥲 It was fine at first, I just used some effects & stickers. Edit: I always used the free version, filters & stickers. But it still won't let me save, it wanted me to pay to have more storage space. I sent a message to their Gmail but it seems like I wasn't understood. I didn't buy a subscription, I can't save. Nice app, what a pity.

Worked great, now ads interfere with editing. Ads will pop up in the middle of the screen with no notice and if you accidentally tap on it (or sometimes even if you don't because some ads will take you straight to the play store regardless), you lose whatever you were working on. Edit: thanks for the response. I understand the need for ads, but because they pop up while editing and some force you to the play store, it doesn't save your work and you have to start over. It renders the app useless

The app didn't do what I needed it for, no big deal, so I unsubscribed less than an hour after I started the trial. Even double checked in my Google Play subscriptions and it said it was canceled. End of the trial came up and I was still charged. Did a refund request and explained that. They DID process the refund, but it says it can take up to THIRTY days to post to your account. $90 is a lot of money to pull, unauthorized, and then not return for 30 days... Shady shady shady.

This used to be amazing but now its money hungry! The app itself is amazing. easy to use amazing features unfortunately over time its got so money hungry. £9 a month is absurd for no ads and extra editing options (what you can get free on other apps) if the subscription was £3-£5 a month I'd consider it (I cant afford almost £50 upfront for year subscription) The ads also ruin this app. Long ads and glitches out with them. I hardly use this app now because of it.

Have been using this app for 10 years and I wake up today to find that the blemish feature, where you can remove certain blemishes or items, is under the PLUS membership now. Very disappointed that it's blocked behind a paywall now because this app stood out amongst other photo editing apps because of this feature. There's only monthly and yearly subscriptions too, not even a one-time payment option. Not using this until blemish is brought back or a one time subscription is available.

This used to be my go-to app. But this is super expensive now. And they now require you to pay for things that used to be free (save as png, letterpacks previously paid for now inaccessible without paying for the subscription) They also removed options that were available before (Adding a picture layer so that it lines up perfectly without needing to resize. Now even with an expensive subscription the option is unavailable). This app is going downhill and will continue do so by the looks of it.

What a shame. This app used to be a brilliant, free to use photo editor with fairly limited ads, and a wide range of features available without paying. Was my go-to editing app for years. Nowadays half the features are behind an absurdly expensive paywall, the ads are unbearable, and it seems you can't even save an edited picture without paying for premium, even if you didn't try to use any premium features. Uninstalled so quick once that started happening.

I downloaded a free trial of the app, used it once ... then forgot about it. A year later, I get a $72.99 charge on my Visa bill for an auto-renewal. I get upwards of 300 emails a day so I missed the notice of the upcoming charge. Both PicsArt & Google Play refused to do anything about it. I believe this whole business model is deceptive and that they COUNT on customers missing the notices and then they get paid for a service they did not provide and their customers did not want.

This app is a total scam. I paid $78 for the Pro Plan which gives me 500 monthly credits. I also paid an additional $38 for 400 mor credits and I've received nothing but a prompt to buy more credits. Eventhough my balance inaccurately shows 150 credits, the app won't even let me use those. RUN away as quickly as possible. It sucks that Picsart is forcing me to submit a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. I have to at least try to prevent other people from getting scammed like I did :/

As other people have stated,so many features used to be free and now you have to pay for almost everything. There were a great selection of fonts and now they charge you for them. I would be fine woth paying for the specific items I want, not paying for an entire subscription for the few things I want. Talk about greedy and doubtful this app will last much longer because of it.

Not only have they increased the cost to generate a motion photo by a factor of ten. $20 for 10 pics @5 sec a piece. THAT'S LESS THAN A MINUTE! And the results are absolute garbage! Despite your greatest efforts, the app will ignore all prompts and simply add a lighting effect to your "animated" image. Subscription cancelled. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

I need to subscribe to "Pro" every time i have spent time editing photos because I inevitably use a "pay only" feature to edit my photos...so after all that work, I cannot save the picture without subscribing.... argh!!! it happens every time. that is frustrating to have wasted my time and creative flow because I cannot afford the subscription in order to save them!!! Time I will never get back again.

I've never had any notable problems with this app.. I've been obsessed with it since it came out, in fact. I would like it more if we had more controlling options in place of the masks and such.. they're great.. but you can only do so much with a glorified stamp over a photo. I also have to say.. making the older stuff free after a while would also help keep people more interested in keeping the app. just saying.

Used this app for years!! but unfortunately now you can't even make simple creations without them trying to force you to pay. like I used to be able to use all the free editing options with no problem now you can't even save the image you need saved without then asking you to pay. Very upsetting for someone who's always come back to this app. but I'm not paying 8+$ for a membership when I only use the app maybe once every 3 months.

Started out great but has slowly become almost unusable over the last 2 years as more and more standard tools are locked behind a paywall. About 80% of the things I used to use it for are unavailable. I'm talking really simple things like a one-touch brush removing someone's pimple. I understand locking certain things to pro-mode, but when more and more tools go there every day, rather than paying, we just use it less and less. Sorry, but this app has never been good enough to cost $72 a year.

if I could give zero stars, I would. you cannot even SAVE anything without paying (even when you are NOT using paid features). the app is worthless now. why even have it be free to download and include free features if you can't even save what you create? the app was NOT like this when I started using it. I honestly wouldn't mind paying for it, but, there's already ads in the free version and they charge too much for access, imo.

I've used this app for years and I hate what it's become. You can't click anywhere without triggering an ad. They randomly force you to sit through videos and there's a permanent banner at the bottom of the screen as you edit. Don't forget the ads for their overpriced membership! When you actually get to edit, so many tools are membership locked. Worst of all, it's become an AI cesspool. It started with a few filters, now PicsArt has completely rebranded as an AI editor. Leave while you can.

A great app, easiest way to edit things and make images. however, I've been having some bugs lately. The first bug I've had is when I tried to post something and it wouldn't let me make it free to edit. The other bug which happened today was that I was trying to post something and it kept saying there was an error. I restarted my phone after trying countless times to post it, and it's still not letting me post it. Please fix this, thank you.

PicsArt has been my go-to photo editing app for years now. Quick and easy, but has lots of different ways you can alter your photo. I use it all the time when I want a quote or photo from the internet to share, but it's not shareable but I get the person's permission, and screenshot it and size it appropriately. The stickers are endless, even the ones for free. I liked the A.I. filters, but they have changed them, I don't think they're as good now, in my opinion. The image generator is superb

All of the 5-star reviews are sus. Seems like they've bought positive reviews. This used to be my go-to app for editing and creating. I understand ads supplement for those who use the free version, but it's gotten ridiculous. $26 a month ($312 annually) is an outrageous price for what little you get, and there were STILL ads! You can't even save pictures at a different resolution without paying. I will be using my phone's native editing software and other free products instead.
