So here's my honest take on Pipedata-Plus. I've tested a bunch of engineering and design apps, and this one's pretty solid. The database is impressively comprehensive, covering everything from basic pipe sizes to specialty components like strainers and weldoflange fittings. The dimensional data and weight info is super helpful, especially having both metric and imperial units. In my experience, it's way faster than digging through catalogs or standards. The interface could use some polish, but it gets the job done. If you work with piping systems, this is a must-have tool that can save you a ton of time.

Pros

  • Huge database with dimensions and weights for over 160 pipe components
  • Covers metric and US units, plus NPS and DN sizes
  • Color-coded interface makes it easy to find info
  • Saves time compared to looking up specs in catalogs
  • Free to use, no need to pay for premium features

Cons

  • Database could be even more comprehensive
  • Interface is functional but a bit clunky
  • Learning curve to figure out all the features
  • Limited support for newer or specialty components

Description

Been using Pipedata-Plus for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that gives you detailed specs and dimensions for all kinds of piping components – stuff like flanges, valves, fittings, and more. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you can do: there’s a huge database with info on over 160 different piping parts. You can look up dimensions, weights, and design parameters. It’s got color-coded components and all the measurements are in both metric and US units. And the interface is pretty intuitive – took me a while to figure out all the features but it’s useful once you get the hang of it.

Look, if you work with piping systems or do a lot of design work, you’ll probably find this really helpful. It’s not perfect – the database could be more complete and the UI can be a bit clunky at times. But overall it does the job and saves you a ton of time looking up specs.
