The app is fine and easy to use for check ins. I would like to see more versatility in the journey tracking however. Machine workouts account for half of the available usage, but there's nowhere within the app that lists these machines for tracking. Adding these in would be great in the future. As for member perks, they're also just alright. I wouldn't complain if they had a bit more of a selection relative to fitness in general. +2 more stars if the app sees some of this updated though.

Update fixed the slow loading, but I hate the new workout tracking. The old graph for workout time & seeing day/week/month total was very motivating. No way to view progress anymore. Workout aren't calculated by total in a day anymore. If I workout with stretching, strength training & cardio, app adds as three short workouts, & workout average reflects that. Can't overstate the difference. Other features seem fine; I don't use them. This is for the most recent update, so confused by response.

Im pretty frustrated because I can't book a training session. It continues to give me an "Ooops, we are uanble to book a session..." Message. Ive submitted 3 requests for support and Im told its fixed by some auto response email. The last time I did actually get some specific instructions to clear my cookies and try it and then uninstall and reinstall the app. Still not working. Im stumped.

Can't get past the first login screen. "An error occurred looking up your email." Hadn't used it in a while. Updated to latest version. Cleared cache and data. Uninstalled and reinstalled. I'm not going to install an old version. This is ridiculous. P.S. "An unexpected error occurred. Please try again" That's what happens when I try to report it to the app technical support. Those are the only two things I can try doing in this app, and neither work.

Just signed up today and I'll be starting my gym experience tomorrow. The app has a lot of great information for how certain exercises are done, but for some reason, the app force closes when switching exercises during your workout video tutorials. It'll count down to zero for the first one, but then I see my home screen... Please fix. Would rate 5 stars if fixed.

Going with a 2 because it seems that the developers have no idea what users might want in a fitness app. We can check in and schedule classes, that's nice. But what's with the activity tracker that doesn't even include all of the machines at your gym? I'd like to be able to track my entire workout; both cardio and strength, in the same app, and it would be nice if the one that tracks my gym usage also included that option.

i have been enjoying my planet fitness membership and the app does have a great way to track activities and log into the gym. my 1 complaint with the app is that when it comes to logging activities it doesn't have the majority of the equipment in the gym avaliable to log activities on. i end up having to put the majority of my workout under "weightlifting" which isnt accurate meanwhile they have other things listed multiple times. id just like to be able to be more accurate with workout logs.

This is not a good app. The prior app was better. I could enter time worked out, distance, etc. Now a I can do is choose an activity (such as walking) with a time and speed that is available only in .5 mph increments. If I'm walking at 3.2...is that 3 or 3.5? ANSWER: NEITHER. Really, if inaccuracy isn't bad enough, I can no longer see my workout history to track my progress. Truly, the app no longer meets my needs.

For me the main draw of this app are all the guided workouts that you can do while in the gym. Unfortunately, the app lacks a lot of functionality that would make it much more useful, like a search function. I'd also like to be able to follow a progressive series. If I've completed one in the series, the next one should come up automatically. Also I want to see if I've done a video already, or be able to save/track workouts to rewatch again. Very cheap development.

This app has a few problems. For one, the crowd meter on the dashboard isn't always the same as when you click into club details. I never really know which one is accurate. Also, the crowd meter doesn't do a great job of indicating how full the gym actually is. When it shows only 2 bars (which looks like it would mean the gym is relatively empty), the free weights are already pretty saturated. They need to calibrate it badly.
