Description
Been using Plant Identifier App – EarthID for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that can identify like 90% of all plants and trees in the world. Pretty solid if you’re into nature and botany and stuff.
Here’s what you do: You just take a pic of a plant or mushroom, and the app will tell you what it is. There’s also a ‘My Garden’ feature where you can save your favorite plants. And the database is constantly expanding – they’re always adding new species.
Look, if you’re into plants and the great outdoors, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit clunky and the ads can get annoying. But overall it does the job and it’s free to use, so worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Plant Identifier App - EarthID. I've tested a bunch of plant ID apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The database is super comprehensive, it's easy to use, and the results are usually spot on. I like that you can save your favorite plants too. But it's not without its issues - the ads can get obtrusive if you don't pay, and the UI is a bit outdated. Still, for a free app it's one of the better plant ID tools I've used.
