Reviews for Planti: Plant Care

Good app except I accidentally deleted a room and all my plants deleted. There was no delete confirmation and no way to restore them. EDIT: I have no complaints once the bug is fixed. This app is wonderful and really useful especially because it allows you to add multiple people to a household.

Good canna grow app! Will be 5 stars when they add more detailed action. Developers are quick to answer questions and open to suggestions (list of "petitions", wishes, is right inside the app). I would like to see a "Help" page or link to instructions on how to use the app before setting up a crop or garden. I like the ability to group plant actions when logging, i.e. watering or fertilizing. That ability was awesome...once I found it. Cheap cost for premium. Less than 10 bucks. Worth it!

This is a very nice app, it seems very nice to use. The UI is nice and the overall feel of it is very nice. However, I can't fully test it because I use the app called "Greg." This app is very comprehensive and all you have to do is take a picture of a plant and it figures out what plant it is. Then, based on how big the pot is, the species, how far it is from the window, etc. it figures out the watering schedule automatically. I'm not an expert, I want the app to tell me when to water.

Really a cool and smooth app with beautiful interface but it would be cool if it had plants in it's database with prefixed watering and repotting and disease control things too. Since I'm someone who's pretty much clueless about those I don't think this would work for me but I absolutely love the household idea.

Great app. I like the simple layout and features. Has default black mode & ability to add fertilizer, soil change ect. Only complaint, it's a bit of a hassle to check on an individual plants watering schedule/frequency- need to click Plant, Care Schedule, edit. Wish it was right up front. The "upcoming" feature is nice but wish it had more than just the next two waterings. The ability to have a history of photos for each plant would b great. Last note, the photos seem to zoom in 2x after adding

Awesome app! It's just like a diary. The best part is they allow us to make a whole gallery for each plant, so we can keep tracking on how our plants grow everyday. Another feature like water, fertilizer, repot, etc reminder. Perfect, just perfect!

UPDATE: REPLY BELOW WAS CORRECT. App works wonderfully so far. Old review [Only feedback so far is that I cannot add a photo as the plants main picture after I've already saved the plant. you must add photo at the point of original creation. you may add images later but they will not be it's "profile picture" so to speak.]

I really like this app and how it's set up. I just wanted something to keep track of notes and other things for my plants, and this app makes it simple to do. I love that reminders are optional because I don't like to use them. The only downside for me is that you can't remove reminders once they are set up unless you are setting up your plant's profile for the first time. I also appreciate that the pro member subscription doesn't cost much, either. I'm happy to pay it because of it.

I like the app and paid for the year subscription but it will not let me add more than 15 plants. I paid in order to add more but it is telling me to setup the subscription when I've already done it. Please fix. UPDATE,6/16 : I heard from the developer who was able to help me with getting the subscription to go through. Wonderful 😊

After signing up, the first four plants I searched were not found. Cosmos, Pansy's, Cherry Tomatoes, ECT. Nothing exotic or rare. The app couldn't find my information on them. Looking up just tomatos it only has two varieties on there. It would be a nice app if they could add way more plants on there.

Simple and easy to use. I merely needed a simple app to provide watering notifications for my 80 indoor plants. This app does the job and a bit more. It's to the point and easy to navigate. However, there is one thing about it I wish were different. I wish I had the ability to edit the core activities.....where it could be deleted. Once it's there, it's there. Otherwise, I'm totally enjoying it. However, I've only had it for about 3 days, I'm looking forward to long-term use.

Amazing app for tracking your plants! this app is geared towards just tracking your care, not telling you how to care for it. Priced well for premium, but also allows a good amount of plants for free to allow you to test it out or track a small collection. Excited to see what this app becomes! glad it's not just another plant identifier

I've tried a lot of plant apps to find one suitable to help me keep track of watering and fertilising schedules for mine and my son's plants. I was pretty happy with this app until today - easy to use, no annoying ads, no excessive reminders...but my son has brought home another plant from school and I can't add it to the app because you can only add 15 plants on the free version..feels like I've wasted my time adding all this information in and now my only option is to pay a subscription..

I really love this app, I love that you can add tasks that repeat themselves automatically, like watering the plants, and other that you just do once in a while, such as, dusting or repotting them. I also love that your "virtual garden" can be separated by rooms, that you can name your plants and even keep photo updates of them. What there would be to improve is adding personalized tasks for plants with "rarer" care tasks. Otherwise, I absolutely recommend this app to anyone for your plants.

This is the best plant management app out right now. I don't know if its suitable for total beginners as the database is limited, but if you have a basic understanding of the plant's needs and want an app to help you keep track of watering, fertilising, etc then this is it! I've tried about 20 others and none of them worked the way I wanted I don't have enough space to list everything I love, just try it and see for yourself! I pay for premium but it's optional because the free version is great

the app doesn't have most of the flowers that I like; and because those flowers aren't in the app database I can't add them to my wishlist. I currently have Night Sky Petunias; and my petunias aren't in the database either, which means that the app has ZERO INFORMATION about how to properly care for my Night Sky Petunias. However I do like the fact that the app is free, and has reminders for watering, fertilizing, repotting, etc.

EDITED: They keep adding features to be just like every other plant care app. No longer easy and unique. Will NOT be renewing after years. Love the simplicity. Just what I need, reminders. I like that I can choose if I want just watering, fertilizing, repotting, etc. It's easy to use. You can organze by room or however you like. You dont have to deal with all the extra info. Just a plant care reminder app. Love it so far!

Couldn't even get started. First, the app wouldn't load past the opening screen - closed all my open apps - tried again. I repeated this process several times, only reaching past the selection of my preferred Google account. After uninstalling and reinstalling, the previous steps repeated 3 more times and now, here we are, me writing, you reading. Hope this helps someone else not waste their time! :)

This is my favorite plant app! I tried others, but got overwhelmed by how much information they have, great but not for me. I needed something simple to just keep up with tracking all my plants and their care/care history. I love that it tracks misting and repotting too. UI is very easy. Was sometimes buggy when accessing gallery on the free version; since I upgraded, I can snap and crop images for each plant and haven't run into that as often. It definitely helps me keep my plants alive!

This app includes a "cemetery" so I could keep track of plants I didn't do well with, but it also limits you to only 15 unless you submit to a pay wall. While I liked a lot of the features, this seems a little low for an app targeting those who likely have more than 15 plants. An in-app purchase would be worth it maybe once the free version goes up to 25.
