Signed up for the free 3 day trial, was charged after 2 days. Barely got to try it, so maybe it works better than the 50% accuracy rate it had with the plants I did use it for, but who would pay $10 a week for an app they barely got to try out? It's so overpriced for what it is, and they know that, so they trick people into paying for it by giving a 3 day free trial, but charging you on day 2.
Reviews for Plantify: AI Plant Identifier
← Back to Plantify: AI Plant Identifiermy experience was abysmal. I could not even take my first picture of a plant to identify as the screen was all distorted. I tried three times and this app struck out. I can't even post this review. fix your site
playstore needs to get better at separating free and paid apps. this won't let you try it without a credit card. I think it's time to stop using phones and go back to Linux.
Identification works fine, but app does not store the image or the name of previously identified plants. Main reason for the rating though is the excessive fee. The subscription is 8,49€/week, which is way too much.
Not impressed! Too little specific information to enable a successful remedy.
downloaded app in search of an app to ID unknown plants, used the trial before anything else and it seemed ID plants fairly well with what little info given, after trial, didn't renew sub. now app is useless, try to ID or Diag. just returns you've reached your limit, need pro to continue... APP REQUIRES WEEKLY OR YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION TO USE... don't waste your time or money with this app, unless you like gambling on quality/accuracy with your time or money for the same features FREE in other app
Very bad, there's no free feature. I don't know about this app working. You are giving 7 days free style, but also wanting the credit card number, ever body not have a credit card, and how do we know to judge its performance? ?
The info given here was exact as on my florist website and on Google. They are both free, and much easier to understand. plus, I didn't have to read a littney of no good jargon just to get the few words I needed. This app is not worth the .77 per day. Just Google it!! I have deleted the app.
Every feature in this app is easy to used and it's very helpful, u just wanna know the plant in ur garden and u have it
The identification part works but the watering reminders that premium users have works very weird because it doesnt show the plants I'm supposed to water TODAY if the notification time for that plant has gone. And if you open the app it clears your notification tray so then there's no trace of the reminders for that day anywhere. I've contacted the developer about this but haven't heard from them. So can't recommend the app for that reason!
I'm not a plant person, but my daughter left plants at my house when she moved out that I was considering taking care of. I downloaded the app to see if it would be helpful. The app said it would be a 7- day trial, BUT THEY CHARGED MY CARD ON DAY 1 ANYWAY, and I don't even like the app. In less than a few minutes I'm canceling the service and deleting the app, and now my desire to care for these plants is completely ruined! To the garbage they go. 🤬
waste of money Good app for recognising plants, but Google would do it for free. When it comes to diseased, the recommendations would always be the same: too much water, not enough water, too much light , not enough light, etc I do not need those mutually exclusive advices. I need just one that is correct and appropriate.
shocking app. I paid for subscription as I need advice on some plants that were poorly. my cat could've given me more information!! there was no advice with regard what to do to help my plants, mainly because there was little unfolding about what was wrong with them. I hope you are reading this review before you commit any money. now I need to see how easy it is to cancel this hopeless app!
The app automatically sets up weekly payments and i have been unable to change it to yearly. Tried several times and have to give up subscription. Also, technically i think if there are more further optional identification image processing, such as flower, bark (or/and trunk), as well as canopy, the results will be more determinative.
Pros: - You can have reminders set for plant care on your phone or other devices. Mid: - If you are anti-AI, avoid (duh. Says it in the name). Cons: - Frequent mis-identifications. - Nowhere to request adding specific plants. - Missing a huge amount of common house plants. - Many repeated entry selections for the same plant. - Every scan will tell you that there "might" be something wrong with the plant you are scanning. Even if there is nothing wrong with it at all. - No Dark Mode. - & more!
I somehow subscribed to the 7-day trial and 1-year purchase of the app. I canceled the trial but my checking account was already charged $30+ for the 1-yr subscription. I tried the app and did not like it because of a vision problem (recent surgery) . I do not wish to get into particular details for not liking it. I suggest your IT staff change the purchase process to prevent this. My next rating will reflect my satisfaction with your response.
Honestly for the 3 whole plants and 5 whole minutes I used it, it was one of the better plant identifiers out there! But you can only add/identify 3 plants and can't diagnose anything with our paying $7 a week or $40 for the year. That's too steep for me to try when I can't even basically TRY the free version. So I have no idea if it will be better or not or worth it or not.
I've just recently downloaded this app, Plantify, and so far I like it a lot! It's very easy to use, basically point and shoot the pic and it will tell you what it is and other info as well. I finally opted for the pro version which gives you much more info about your plants and trees. It was also on a 50% off plan, which might still be avail if you're quick. If you love plants, trees & bushes, this is a great app to have! Try it out, you can use the free version or the paid one.
Great app when it comes to diagnosing issues, determining schedules, and setting reminders. However, for those of us who have multiple rooms inside and out with quite a few plants in each location (bedrooms, living room, patio, screen room, etc...) it's not easy to keep track of rooms or find certain plants without searching through them all. It would be great if a location or room option was available to sort the plants.
Please tell me how to cancel this subscription!!! $8/week for an app I tried for a minute. It misidentified the plant after several attempts, photos from different angles and lighting. Useless. I haven't been able to figure out how to cancel the subscription and my Paypal account has been charged $7.57 for ONE WEEK with still no way to cancel the subscription. If I can't figure this out, I'm going to have to close my Paypal account. Hoping the developer will see this in time.
