Description
Been using Plany – PlantID for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you identify different plants and also provides info on plant diseases and how to treat them. Pretty solid if you’re into gardening or just love plants in general.
Here’s what you can do – you can take a photo of a plant and it’ll tell you what kind it is. And there’s also a database with info on tons of plants. And the disease detection is actually pretty cool – you can snap a pic of a sick plant and it’ll diagnose the issue and give you tips to fix it.
Look, if you’re a plant person, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a little clunky at times – but overall it does a good job of helping you learn about and take care of your green friends. Worth checking out if you’re into that kind of thing.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Plany - PlantID. I've tested a bunch of plant identification and gardening apps, and this one's pretty solid overall. The core features work well - the plant recognition is accurate and the disease diagnosis is legitimately useful. And i also like that it has a big plant database you can browse. On the downside, the design is a bit dated and the ads can get annoying if you don't pay. But for a free app, it's a pretty good option if you want to get more into plants and gardening.
