Been using PlugShare – EV & Tesla Map for a couple months now. It’s basically a super detailed map that shows you all the electric vehicle charging stations in your area. Pretty solid app if you drive an EV or Tesla.

Here’s what you do: you can search for stations by plug type, charging speed, and network. There’s also cool stuff like driver reviews and photos of the stations. And you can save your favorite spots – that’s come in handy a few times when I’m low on charge.

Look, if you’re an EV driver, you’ll probably love this app. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a little clunky sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out for sure.

So here's my honest take on PlugShare - EV & Tesla Map. I've tested a bunch of map and navigation apps and this one's pretty darn good. The level of detail is impressive - you can find basically any charging station, even obscure ones. The filters are super useful too. The only downside is the interface can be a bit confusing at first, but you get used to it. Overall though, I'd say it's the best EV charging map out there.

  • Might be overkill if you don't drive an EV or Tesla
  • Maps don't always show the most up-to-date info on station availability
