my first review in 2016: just perfect! my last review in 2025: total garbage that now is full of ads! run away from developers that are incompetent enough to make people satisfied with their inventions. VERY UNHAPPY after 10 years advocating for them. go to hell!

They killed it with banner ads that display ontop of every chat now. Come on now you were supposed to be better than that. I guess they sold out too.

Been a good app for using the Telegram API but they now have put a thick stripe at the top of the dm chats with ads and to pay to remove them. So i will be uninstalling.

I've been using this app for many many years. The latest update added Ad's. I could not uninstall this fast enough....thanks for ruining a perfectly good app.

The developer recently added banner ads in the app which does not exist in the main version of Telegram. It's intrusive and you're better off staying away from this app.

added ads with no warning, as well as cookies without consent or prior warning/notification either. used to love the app, unlikely I'll continue using it in the future.

Injecting ads into every chat page no matter if you have Telegram Premium or not and charging money to remove them just killed any faith I had in this app. I like the customization but it's not worth it if I have to pay to get these ugly ads off my screen.

Love all the adjustments you can make. Dislike how often it crashes, videos fail to send part way through.

I'm using nothing cmf phone 1 . So if I minimise the app the downloading stops..And if the app kept open then only the downloading continues ...I have try many ways but its not working ...This same issue is occurred to my friend , he is also using the same phone...PLEASE FIND A SOLUTION

This is a good app in general and all but if you have an issue with your account then you're on your own. They make you be able to buy subscription and all but they have no one to reply to email you write to them or with the bots that supposedly are there to help you fix your account. For real, if this app make you pay money they should prioritize customer service first

shadow dropping ads in your update is deplorable. The fact that I'm getting nothing but Trump/ICE ads as well is ridiculous. I'm not using this anymore until you correctly update your page that you have ads included because now it's misleading.

Presumably a new update for this client just added very obnoxious banner ads into chats and dms, as if the scummy crypto and porn ads Telegram already pushes werent enough. And like Telegram's ads, the close button for ads is fake and only prompts you to pay to remove them. If this doesn't get reverted or changed to something less obnoxious I might just go back to the regular telegram client and give up on the few extra features plus adds.

I forgot the unlock 🔓 key since I had added my biometrics. Now this app is forcing me to input PIN and I forgot. There's nowhere to reset it. When I unlock with biometrics, it still wants then PIN. PLEASE BRING AN UPDATE WITH A RESET BUTTON! I don't want to uninstall and login again because I used my foreign number and it no longer receives messages.

I used Telegram Plus instead of the official Telegram, and it worked great. But since yesterday, it started showing ads at the top of chats. When I click to remove them, it asks me to pay. Please explain why it has become paid.!!!

Lets you hide stories and "premium" content. Those features alone are worth 5 stars. Outside of that, it's highly customizable. Tons of options for everything. Plus is so much better than the official app that it's not even a contest. My one and only complaint is that stickers take forever and a day to show up when added to a pack, much longer than stock Telegram for whatever reason.

The developer implemented intrusive ads across all chats with zero notice to their users, only removable with a one-time payment. The fee is small, but the disrespectful manner and the precedent they set with this change spits in the face of their longtime users. I cannot trust a developer that uses such a short-sighted approach to extract funds from their userbase with what is essentially a ransom. I would have gladly paid if they had asked with a simple popup or extra features.

Really? Advertisement within the application? They even added a subscription to get rid of the ads they've just added. After so many years, I was really happy with this application. This might be a change that will make me uninstall Plus Messenger and go back to official Telegram.

Overall this client offers more and better features than what is available with the original telegram client. It is a bit quirky though, and it also doesn't respect your choices, such as when it suggests checking out themes by other users, and every time I check the box next to, "don't ask me again", and before I know it they're asking me again. 🤷‍♂️

Added it's own ad in popular channels and chats and didn't test an option to cancel it, forces you to subscribe to it's channel. Well, it's time to say goodbye. Thank you for years of good app, will miss you 🤷

It's great, but there are some complications. When I first downloaded it (about two years ago) it was flawless. But, here we are giving it a 3 star. Over the past 4 months, it's been getting progressively worse. Glitching in sending messages. I can't send pictures because it doesn't close my keyboard, I have to manually close my keyboard. There are issues with it staying connected via WiFi and Data, even calls can take a while to connect. Media DL takes way to long because of this issue as well.
