it's too damn bad that this app has such a great selection of shows but doesn't work on my phone..unless I want one third of the screen to be the menu and the view screen less than a two inch box on top of the menu.. it's useless and frustrating to use and continuously skips to a different channel in the middle of shows..something I remember being a problem 3 years ago..it's good to see no progress has been made . bummer..seriously..I get that it's free..but what's the point really?

Absolutely horrible! After years of watching pluto, I log in today, and they require all your information all of a sudden to watch anything on their service that is worth watching. I came here because it didn't require signing up for anything. Needless to say, I am deleting the app, and I won't be back. The app has been declining since paramount took over. You used to get full seasons of shows from beginning to end, now they play the same 10 episodes over and over.

Sounds like a nice app. If only it worked like one. Why pretend to have hundreds of streaming channels when only about half a dozen work at any given time. Most of the just buffer forever. Just the way it is for months at a time. Occasionally they update and it works well a few weeks. Then another update and you only have a half dozen channels working for the next several months. It is always the drama channels down the most. Probably would give five stars if they could just keep it working. Sad

if I pause it, it will play again either randomly or whenever I turn on my phone if it was off. pause button will disappear afterwards and/or consistently throughout watching for no reason and you can't pause it until it decides to come back. Free movies though, I guess. Edit: took another star off because I tried to take a screenshot of the scene because I paused at a good time and they don't allow any screenshots, they come up black. everything is more and more joyless these days.

I love the selection of programs available. I find the ads a bit irritating though, since they seem to repeat the same 2 ads (commercials) during the entire program...and they skip/freeze alot. Then when the program resumes, it's a scene you just saw prior to the commercial, and the program will freeze as well. Don't know if it's my internet connection causing this or if Pluto is just trying to stretch out the episode to make it fit in the hour time slot?? since it's free, I tolerate it.

Lol 2nd time your response is a promo LOTS of SPAM after sign up!! They now force you to update the app and then lock out your favorites unless you sign up! This is so they can collect and sell your data and track your viewing. Greedy move! A huge increase in adds as well. Once great, Pluto has since become extremely aggressive in pushing their sign up. Their original free model without signup has become an experiment in manipulating your favorites list, and blocking favorites until you sign up.

There are many great titles on this app, but the functionality of the app itself, at least on Android devices, needs a lot of work. In the "On Demand" section, sometimes the movies won't open to full screen, and more often than that when you tap the screen to open the pause button, nothing happens and the movie continues playing. I'm talking about the On Demand movies, not the Live TV movies. Please fix! I like a lot of the movies on here.

After update, even though I have notifications turned off under Android settings, I'm now getting notifications for this app only. There's no where in the app settings to turn off notifications, either. Also, they're mostly notifications for shows/movies in Spanish, which I don't speak, and a few other shows/movies that I have no interest in.

Good selection of movies and shows, but REALLY unstable. Frequently stops playing in the middle of a movie, and when you go back in to start it back up, it always plays a TON of ads. Too bad. Other apps keep track of where you left off and don't make you re-watch all the ads. I've found this app to be very frustrating to use.

The movies work most of the time, but watching a news channel is tough because it jumps around a lot or stops and starts frequently. 7/10/25 - it's annoying that they block some channels in order to get your email info. I don't want to get endless marketing emails. It's not worth it 😕 9/05/25 They still block my favorite channels, hoping I'll sign in with my information. So much for it being free to watch, I guess. 🤔

what they offer is decent, but the execution is brutal. since it tries to play live TV every time you open the app it takes forever to load and open, especially when used through my tv.. it's so bad when I try and use it I often close the app and use something else instead if dealing with it. others that are set up similar like tubi at least open on the on demand page instead of the live TV that they also offer. makes it at least usable.

if you want to watch old outdated, and very limited amount of episodes, this is a great app that is if you love commercials. but if you want to fast forward or skip ahead or pause or any of the other features that it boast about, hang it up none of that stuff works or ever did, or probably ever will. bottom line it is just another app brags about a bunch of stuff that it never delivers on.

Awful app. Every 5 minutes stupid repeating long series of commercials. App doesn't indicate which episodes have already been watched, and some program you don't want to see starts playing before you find your program. Finally, there is no indication how many commercials will be playing or how long they will last. The quality of most of their shows and movies aren't worth it.

I've been using Pluto on many devices since it first appeared & it's very good. There's a huge variety of programming and there's really something for everyone. The commercial ads aren't as many and as intrusive as other free streaming apps either, which is great. And MUCH less than over the air TV stations. Hard to imagine anyone who could find nothing on this of interest, day or night. I've had technical glitches here & there but overall it's a very good experience. And finally, 24/7 Columbo!

It's pretty good. They've fixed a lot of the problems it used to have. But that music it plays in-between episodes when one ends and the other isn't scheduled to start yet is super annoying. It plays for 20+ minutes straight sometimes. It makes me want to pull my hair out. My god is it annoying. I'd give this app 5 stars but that music is just so annoying I had to take 2 off just for that.

DATA HUNGRY!!! This app is far from free. With no option to change video quality this app will DESTROY your data the first time you use it. Also, considering half your viewing time is spent on commercials, you're spending half of all the data used on adds. There are times when there's 3 or 4 minutes of commercials then 30 seconds of actual show then another 3 or 4 minutes of commercials again. That's 8 minutes of adds for 30 seconds of viewing actual shows.

There is an extreme difference in volume between content and advertisement where the ads are nearly twice as loud, which wouldn't be so bad if a movie didn't have ~8 ad breaks. This combined with the app design that that makes it a pain to navigate to anything outside of live TV makes it a terrible experience that I'll avoid. I'll just watch Tubi instead.

this used to be my absolute favorite Free streaming app. best selection of content, the live TV feature, the movies. All good. but lately it is very buggy, the screen freezes while still playing the audio and the only way to fix it is to change the channel and then change it back. then the title will play a few more seconds and freeze again. I wish we could go back to the good old days of Pluto!

You would receive 5 stars if it weren't for one thing that's so significant, it drops the score to one star. Ads that freeze. I don't mind the ads. They keep it free. What I do mind are ads that freeze and never unfreeze. I exit out, go to something else and when I come back the same ad freezes. This is a constant problem and makes the whole app unwatchable. It got so bad, I just went ahead and bought the TV series I was attempting to watch. I'd rather pay than deal with this. Fix your issues.

large collection and plenty of variety especially with the live channels. the problem with Pluto is the one demand service. if u watch a movie on demand the amount of ads makes it unwatchable. obviously there's ads, its free that's how it works. what doesn't work is having 7 ads every 6 minutes when the 7 ads end up being nearly 3 minutes every time. I'm not exaggerating whatsoever. a 90 minute movie shouldn't take over 2 hours to watch with ads. that's insane. tubi and others do half that many.
