it's too damn bad that this app has such a great selection of shows but doesn't work on my phone..unless I want one third of the screen to be the menu and the view screen less than a two inch box on top of the menu.. it's useless and frustrating to use and continuously skips to a different channel in the middle of shows..something I remember being a problem 3 years ago..it's good to see no progress has been made . bummer..seriously..I get that it's free..but what's the point really?

Absolutely horrible! After years of watching pluto, I log in today, and they require all your information all of a sudden to watch anything on their service that is worth watching. I came here because it didn't require signing up for anything. Needless to say, I am deleting the app, and I won't be back. The app has been declining since paramount took over. You used to get full seasons of shows from beginning to end, now they play the same 10 episodes over and over.

Sounds like a nice app. If only it worked like one. Why pretend to have hundreds of streaming channels when only about half a dozen work at any given time. Most of the just buffer forever. Just the way it is for months at a time. Occasionally they update and it works well a few weeks. Then another update and you only have a half dozen channels working for the next several months. It is always the drama channels down the most. Probably would give five stars if they could just keep it working. Sad

if I pause it, it will play again either randomly or whenever I turn on my phone if it was off. pause button will disappear afterwards and/or consistently throughout watching for no reason and you can't pause it until it decides to come back. Free movies though, I guess. Edit: took another star off because I tried to take a screenshot of the scene because I paused at a good time and they don't allow any screenshots, they come up black. everything is more and more joyless these days.

I love the selection of programs available. I find the ads a bit irritating though, since they seem to repeat the same 2 ads (commercials) during the entire program...and they skip/freeze alot. Then when the program resumes, it's a scene you just saw prior to the commercial, and the program will freeze as well. Don't know if it's my internet connection causing this or if Pluto is just trying to stretch out the episode to make it fit in the hour time slot?? since it's free, I tolerate it.

Lol 2nd time your response is a promo LOTS of SPAM after sign up!! They now force you to update the app and then lock out your favorites unless you sign up! This is so they can collect and sell your data and track your viewing. Greedy move! A huge increase in adds as well. Once great, Pluto has since become extremely aggressive in pushing their sign up. Their original free model without signup has become an experiment in manipulating your favorites list, and blocking favorites until you sign up.

There are many great titles on this app, but the functionality of the app itself, at least on Android devices, needs a lot of work. In the "On Demand" section, sometimes the movies won't open to full screen, and more often than that when you tap the screen to open the pause button, nothing happens and the movie continues playing. I'm talking about the On Demand movies, not the Live TV movies. Please fix! I like a lot of the movies on here.

After update, even though I have notifications turned off under Android settings, I'm now getting notifications for this app only. There's no where in the app settings to turn off notifications, either. Also, they're mostly notifications for shows/movies in Spanish, which I don't speak, and a few other shows/movies that I have no interest in.

Good selection of movies and shows, but REALLY unstable. Frequently stops playing in the middle of a movie, and when you go back in to start it back up, it always plays a TON of ads. Too bad. Other apps keep track of where you left off and don't make you re-watch all the ads. I've found this app to be very frustrating to use.

The movies work most of the time, but watching a news channel is tough because it jumps around a lot or stops and starts frequently. 7/10/25 - it's annoying that they block some channels in order to get your email info. I don't want to get endless marketing emails. It's not worth it 😕 9/05/25 They still block my favorite channels, hoping I'll sign in with my information. So much for it being free to watch, I guess. 🤔
