Description
Been using Pocket ICU for a couple months now. It’s basically a medical reference app for critical care professionals. Pretty solid if you’re a doctor, nurse, or med student who needs quick access to info on the go.
Here’s what you can do – there’s a ton of detailed entries covering everything from common ICU procedures to drug dosages. And it’s got a really clean interface that makes it easy to search and find what you need. And the content is written in a straightforward way, not overly technical, so even I can understand it for the most part.
Look, if you work in an ICU setting, you’ll probably find this app super useful. It’s not perfect – the search could be a bit better and the design is a little dated. But overall it does the job and is worth having on your phone.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on Pocket ICU. I've tested a bunch of medical reference apps and this one's one of the better ones I've tried. The content is comprehensive and reliable, which is the most important thing. And the interface could use an update but it's still pretty intuitive to use. Only real downside is it can feel a bit overwhelming if you're not already familiar with critical care terminology. But for ICU professionals, I'd say it's a must-have.
