Loved pocket prep. The questions from the ANCC boards are very similar and the format is similar as well. Loved being able to take mock exams and learn why certain things were wrong. I passed my test and I just used pocket prep, I would absolutely recommend.

I just paid for premium access a few weeks ago and now I'm locked out. After multiple troubleshooting and restart attempts, my only option to is diffuse the charge through my credit card.

Great rationales with questions. UI is fantastic and intuitive. I love that it will let you switch which exam you're studying for as well. Makes a yearly subscription really worth it. Perfect for nurses that have to cross train in multiple departments!

I had Pocket Prep before, like this app MUCH better!! I had the paid version and was worried that I would lose everything when I had to reinstall the app. For those of you having problems, restart your phone. It should work then!

Fairly user friendly. A little pricy for only having a few month subscription, although that seems to be the market. Some of the rationales seem really off but most of them are solid (i also haven't taken ccrn just yet). I do wish it had a few pages just of the normal values for labs, vent parameters, and swans

many of these questions are absolutely ridiculous, you will never see such poorly worded questions on any bcen exam. Prime example, this app. insists the parkland formula is 2XkgXBSA. in fact that is not supported by the BCEN it is 4XkgXBSA. "2" is a modified parkland. There is a bunch of info on this app. that is completely wrong ...don't use this app...completely garbage!

This was my primary method of study for the PMHNP exam and I passed on my first attempt. I really like how it told me where in the purple book or Saddock to get more info on questions I missed. Only complaint is there are too few questions. After reseting the question back a few times I started to memorize questions and knew the answers before I finished reading.

While I'd say this app is insufficient to use as a sole study resource for the CCRN, it was a great supplemental app to use along with Barron's CCRN study guide to help learn concepts on the test. Between using both Barron's study guide and answering all the questions available on the CCRN portion of this app, I answered 106 out of 125 questions correctly (83 correct answers are necessary to pass). I highly recommend.

I used this for my NPD exam and it was super helpful!

Definitely helped prepare for the CEN exam for content and question structure! My only suggestion is that it would be helpful for the mock exams to be random sets of questions each time rather than the same set for each exam. Overall, was a great study tool!

Studying for my exam and was looking for a question bank that I could easily use when I had a few minutes of time. Although there were more options with the "free" version before the update, I do believe this version has been helpful. I like that there is an option to review the rationales immediately after you select an answer and I also like that you can flag an answer as you go along, which I've heard is similar to the actual test.

I used this as my primary study tool for Peds Primary Care Exam in addition to a prep-course and textbook studies. The app on my phone made it easy to do a few questions everyday during some down time. My stats was listed at 83% when I passed my test. I used the app to set reminders for areas of improvement in my studies and to practice answering questions with confidence.

Used the app for CCRN review over a period of several months in conjunction with the AACN Essentials of Critical Care Nursing 4th edition. Passed my exam on the first attempt. Pros: easy to use, extensive question bank, provides a broad overview of content with source material citations. Cons: many questions are written at a very basic level, occasional factual errors or odd question wording, and I lost count of typographical errors. Would still recommend but not as a sole review method.

Nursing Pocket Prep for CEN. I cancelled this app back in July because the information was 1. In a number of cases factually wrong and 2. the question formats were not accurate to the exam and have not been some time. Also despite having cancelled the app I've been getting billed since. The app was barely/probably not worth the $20, definitely not a recurring subscription of $20. Stay away if you want accurate CEN prep material.

My CCM exam has questions with wrong answers not sure what can be trusted in terms of questions and answers.

They have an option for AANP PMHMP exam (first started 04/2024) but cite the Purple Book for questions which is 9 years old and written by the people who write the ANCC exam. The questions were nothing like the AANP PMHMP exam. Waste of money.

For the price (make sure you cancel the recurring after you purchase), it is pretty good. It has multiple exams with their own individual banks. This is perfect for when you have 10 free minutes to bust out some questions. Some of them are, unfortunately, factually inaccurate or at the very least outdated. The bottom line is that this is a great supplement to an actual study guide like pamela Bartley or Solheims.

I mostly used this app to pass my first attempts at CCRN and SCRN. fantastic app with excellent customer supporte

Helped me get back into test taking mode. Passed my test on the 1st try even though I didnt even finish all the Pocket Prep questions

I PASSED my Med-Surg Certification Exam! Pocket Prep was used as my main resource due to the convenience of the app. The explanations were great and I love how it tracks my due date and progress. On the day of my exam, it was very identical to the structure of Pocket Prep helping me to relax, and stay focused. I am so glad I found this app!!!
