Reviews for POV – Disposable Camera Events

← Back to POV – Disposable Camera Events

this is super cute and fun. it has the interactive bit while also being useful. This works best if you select a couple of people to take the pictures instead of all. trust me it becomes chaos and the quality goes down + most people won't want to download an app just for pictures so select the right ones and enjoy!

Way too expensive. As a free app sure, but with all the negative reviews and issues and a quote of 59 dollars for an event I was going to pretest this app on coming in two weeks, disposable cameras make more sense and you're not risking loosing those memories to an app that clearly has some bugs (as per other reviews) 😂 buyer beware I guess

I really liked this app until it glitched one day and deleted my account. So now any time I try to log on with my email it says it can't because my account was deleted and it won't let me recreate my account. Twice now I have emailed customer service about restoring my account (by following the link the app gave me for that purpose) only to not get a response at all. Once again I really like the app, I just wish I could get my account back.

App seems to have problems loading, at least for me. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. When the app first loads, it asks me to sign in using Google. I select an account, & then it sits there & loads for literally 5 minutes... After that, at some point, I can finally create a username. I type in a username of random characters, but NEVER lets me tap "Continue"... Something appears broken about this app, at least for my phone model, which is terribly disappointing.

Disappointed that even as a guest, I can't use the QR code unless I download the app. Even when I did download the app, my photos were not visible after the event was over. Great concept but needs to be compatible with a wider range of phones, especially for events where everyone has different phones.

We purchased the product for my sister's wedding, unfortunately most people had difficults with connecting and in the end we got a smaller album than expected, and we also paid for more than we received. I hope the request for the partial credit will be accepted, and also that they will fix the link problem. It is important to note that the idea is very cool, only the execution is still lacking

Cant view photo collections after the event is done on the web. Its forcing you to download the app which I will never use again. And then when you do download the app you cant login because "credential manager is not supported on your device" even though I have the latest software version on a new device. Absolute garbage

Got it so everyone can take pics of my wedding. It didn't work correctly. The limit was 25 pics per person. The app allowed to take only 5. It said that my event ended at 6, while the end time was set for 11. Still didn't get my refund, went through the app support, then through Google - nothing. Save your money, don't get this. Completely disappointed.

Paid for the app picture from my event people were having issues trying to use the app it was complete waste. No one wanted to send the pictures without seeing them first I paid for 175 guests we had 250 guests only 5 people submitted photos. Customer service had to help me find those I only got 25 pictures from the event that was enough for the free version

As a guest scanning the barcode just kept trying to install the app. After I installed the app and it wont let me do anything without logging in with my Google Account, I do not want to do this! This is a fantastic concept but until guests can use without installing the app it's never going to work.

Having android issues. My friend set up her account with iOS and I can access it with my android, but only for a couple days. when I go back to try again, it kicks me to google play and wants me to download the app. This is a problem because I am printing out placards for her, and I need to be sure it works for everybody, but it sounds like I may have an issue with anybody using an android. would love input/solutions

I used the app for my wedding, it was a great success. Much better than expected. People got oriented easily with the QR code. As a developer myself I have some recommendations for improvements in the UI: - The home page should be your cameras, not the create camera page. Your cameras is much more used. - There should be easier way to open the gallery once you have joined. I would put a direct button for gallery and separate one for the camera (probably green while the event is active).

I paid for the option to have 40 of my guests able to take 25 photos each, after 41 photos it gave an error that it was full and it was glitched so I wasn't able to change it. We should've gone with the disposal cameras but thought this was a great alternative. It unfortunately failed and disappointed us on our big day.

Title: Good Idea, But Needs a Free Option I love the concept of the POV app! It's a great way to capture and share moments from different perspectives. However, I think it would be even better if they offered a free option, even with limited features. The current pricing model might be a barrier for some users. Still, it's a unique and interesting app!

This was a fun way to get different perspectives of my wedding! It was easy to set up and easy to download all of the photos using the export all button! The cost Seemed a little pricey though. Another note is that the price was not converted to aud for me and there was no mention of which currency the prices were in. I only realised I had paid more than what was stated on the app when I checked my bank account which was not the best suprise considering I was trying to budget for a wedding!

The whole reason I purchased this was to make photos easier to upload for guests. But they are not able to take photos unless they download the app AND sign in with a Google account despite all advertising saying otherwise. What an absolute waste of money.

Such a fun app to relive some nostalgia through the filter of film! I love that it takes pictures much like a disposable camera, you can't see the pictures you take until the end and it even shows you how many pictures left you can take! definitely an app worth trying!

Great app. The picture quality definitely varies drastically and I'm sure it is based on the phone but I love all of the different perspectives I got. I also think that it would be cool if you could get an amount for an event instead of number of people because some people didn't take many pictures and some ran out quickly. overall it was a great experience and would do this again.

There is a maximum photo limit of 25 per person from what i can see, not good if guests will be sharing lots of pictures at an event. Its also not clear before purchasing a package that guests will also need to install the app to share photos, which can be off putting. But if thats not important to you, its a pretty good app.

The app is great in theory but not as user friendly as expected. When scanning the QR code with your phone camera you are forced to download the app to participate. People had to download a separate QR code reader just to link up with the event camera and not be forced to download the app. Down grade to 1 star because absolutely NO ONE but the ahost can access the gallery without downloading the app; not everyone wants another app on their ohone they might only use once!!
