Reviews for Poweramp Full Version Unlocker

Been using this app since it came out a long time ago and it's still my #1 choice for a music player on my phone. Only problem I have though is I changed the album art of a song on accident in the app and now I can't get my original thumbnail to show up without all the other songs having the same thumbnail as well. It only happens when you have a song that is in an album if there is no album than it doesn't do it. Maybe you guys can add a fix for this in a new update please. Thanks!

The EQ, look and feel of this app is top notch. But the recent update has the app not recognizing many of my tracks and those that are recognized are poorly sorted. Album breaks where they don't belong, missing tracks, sorting/naming tracks based on track # instead of song titles, just to name a few of the issues the recent update has brought with it. I've tried every which way to make it work but i've gotten nothing but headaches out of this app. Time to move on and find something new.

After trying multiple free & trial apps, it's hands down the best one for local collection: - Clean UI, - Complete set of options & settings, - Supports most formats I need, - Gesture navigation is awesome & well thought. The last point is why I decided to stay on it: it allows you to switch albums/playlists real quick & one handed. The price is also very reasonable as you only have to pay once, and don't need to repay if you switch device. For how much I use it, it's definitely worth it 👍

Got this app a long time ago. It was ok, but it didn't do much for sound quality over other apps. Opened the app up recently and noticed the update which is a tremendous improvement. More importantly, the Update in sound quality is huge. The openness and stereo separation streaming to bluetooth in my car is night and day better than what it was. A word of caution- because of all the audio tweaks, you won't get the best audio or could make it worse if you don't know what you're doing.

Sound quality is good, and it is a decent music player. But the user interface is very busy and confusing. Also, it splits up all my mix albums (Grammy nominees of 2011, for example) into separate songs because they are by different artists, so I have to put them together into a single playlist manually to play them all as one album. I can't figure out why music players can't get basic functionality correct.

This is the best music app I've experienced compared other music apps! I thought Jetaudio was superior, but I was terribly wrong! The Poweramp is not only cost effective, but its features are superior and functional. I can install music on my SD Card and continue to access my Playlists. Also, I have no problems downloading the correct Album Artwork. The sound is incredible! I have a Galaxy S20 Ultra and Note 10 Plus. My earlier review was based on a limited Galaxy S5 and lack of knowledge.

Best app I've ever purchased! Been using since 2011 and will never have a device without it! Edit: it's now 2021 and I have run into my first problem. I switched phones and the music that was on my SD card on the old phone was converted to a folder on the new phone since it doesn't have SD support. Poweramp can't locate any song now. Even if I downloaded it straight to my phone. Edit: I'm an idiot.

The update has made some things better, but there are still problems. One major one is that the playlists start from song one when you switch... the old version at least tried to maintain your position. Another is that albums added to a playlist that's being shuffled end up not shuffled; after hearing the fifth song from an album I just added, I realized it wasn't a coincidence. The resume with headphones feature doesn't always work either. It actually hardly ever works.

Very Powerful and Overly Complicated. I have used Poweramp for years, and while I enjoy its main features of playing my music and how I like it played, it's very hard to learn to use it well. Tonight, I tried to export a playlist, and it just failed miserably. First, it wanted to use a restricted Android data folder, then once I pointed it to a documents folder, it claimed success, but the folder was empty. I tried again checking the box for a song list, and it failed again!

After a week of using the free version, this is the best sounding, and easiest to use Android player I've had the pleasure of using. Finding album art is painless, and quick. Lock screen options are as simple/fleshed out as you choose. All around, simply a great player. **Note** Reboot your phone if you are having remote/widget control issues after the latest update.

I'm a loyal user of Poweramp. THIS IS MY 1ST REVIEW! This is the main music player that I use on my android devices. I don't wanna bash the new changes. I'm willing to adapt to keep the good sound. BUT... The biggest problem that I've had with this app for the last few years is the occasional glitchy deletions of my playlists from time to time. It's this, that I'd wish you guys would PLEASE fix. Kinda hard to exercise good without a playlist.

After trying multiple players that wouldn't play content created in iTunes, this is far superior to any others I've found. Pretty much all content works (I did still have problems with one obscure Apple created format). The audio controls are plentiful and work well. This is one of the only apps I've upgraded to the pro/full version, or given 5 stars. One of the only down sides is that album art sometimes applies randomly to some songs on an album and not others.

PowerAmp is impressive. Although the learning curve is high, but once you learn it, it's extremely useful. The playback controls are a bit klunky, like hitting the next track in a playlist (which is 3 left or right arrows I thought) then it goes off to a different list, but once you learn how it operates it is fine. What is best about this music player are the controls like gapless play, the crossfade and the ability to adjust nearly every aspect of the file you want to hear. It sounds AMAZING!

Very good music player, probably the best for your phone. I have 33k songs, and it works extremely well. Scans stuff quickly, has an album art searcher that actually works, folder hierarchy, etc. My 2 complaints are concerning the playlists. If your playlist entry is not EXACTLY in the location of the place it originally was, it doesn't read it. Also, when you hit a song in the playlist that is like this, it pauses and doesn't automatically advance to the next song.

UPDATE: EQ song assignments have been stable for awhile now. Thanks. -- Been a user for a long time, but they just overhauled the interface and functionality, and took away some of the features that made it great. E.g. you used to be able to assign EQ presets to songs. Well, not anymore - as far as I'm concerned this is absolutely necessary when listening to mp3 quality. 1000's of songs with different frequency ranges, and you are not giving me the ability to assign a preset to a song?

The few bucks I spent on this- probably a decade ago- have given me more value than anything else I can think of. THOUSANDS (tens of thousands?) of hours listening to lossless audio, across a dozen devices, two big upgrades to the software I can remember, more settings than I have need for, and an active support forum? Enough said. The lossless signal coming from cheap Android is mathematically identical to that of any high end source- spend a few bucks here and don't get chintzy speakers.

AMAZING I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!! Just one thing I would like fixed. When there's more than one album cover inside of an album (especially if it has multiple discs), it will sometimes grab the cover from a completely random track. I would think it would make more sense to have the cover from the first track/disc. Also when choosing an album art, I don't see a way to revert changes to the embedded art.

This app turned my car stereo into a completely different system. The sound quality is amazing. Though, there is one thing the REALLY bugs me. When I open the app and click a band and then click album, I am able to hit the back button and the app will take be to the previous album and then back to the band selection. But when you have a song playing and hit the back button to choose another song from that band, the app will close. I have to hit the menu button and find the band and album again.

Poweramp is definitely my go-to music player. I have absolutely gotten my money's worth out of the full version, and I've only had it for several months. I have a very large personal music collection that I've been working on for years. The app works seamlessly with my laptop to continually keep it organized exactly like I want. One of the things that I love most about the app is the control over the customization that the user enjoys. I would easily buy it again.

I prefer to have my personal music on my phone. I don't use streaming services or anything like that. Poweramp, by a long shot, is the best music player on mobile. Endless customizations. Awesome visuals while listening to music. I love that it actually finds cool album art that can also be changed if necessary. There are numerous skins you can download and then modify those to your liking. I really wish they would make a version for windows. It would smash any competition for sure
