I like this app because the display is like my real tuner. But it tells you the octave, as well as the note, so it's in a way even a little better. Thanks.

this is the best tuner app I've found. excellent you've been down to the cent. every option I wanted is here worth every penny. and it's always with me cuz it's in my pocket my phone. this is the tuner you need for the guitar. bottom line. all the other apps are lame. if you want your guitar in tune. look no farther. setting intonation can be achieved with this tuner. just insure thier isnt much back ground noise when adjusting intonation. this tuner is professional as it gets and its easy for the beginners. if your guitar is not in tune, you re waisting time. this tuner is cool. 5 stars. rock on peoples!!🤟

I'd be willing to give it more stars because it does what it does pretty well but for two things, the most Important of which being the ads - I don't just mean the fact that you are forces to watch a whole ad every time you. Do. Anything. It's these ads specifically. Personally. These are the lamest, annoying, wannabe sneaky but blatantly just dumb suck ads ever. Anywhere. Any product. On any platform. Uninstalling. Also, $10 any xtra? Like display cents? That's reeeal small ball. Gauche

4/27/20: Been playing for about two years now and this was the first tuner I ever installed. It's great, does exactly what I want and it's crazy accurate. There's one ad that pops up and then I can keep tuning. Totally okay with that given the time put into the app. Very great, no crashing, no ridiculous advertising. Love it. 5 stars easily 👍 5/23/22: Two years later I return to update my review. I have uninstalled this app, unfortunately ads have become ridiculous and it's not worth it now.

Works really well, lots of options for different instruments including extended range. If there is a setting that let's me actually pick the individual notes for each string that I want to tune to, I can't find it. It seems there are curated tunings for each instrument and I can't find a way to create a custom tuning. Would be 5 stars if that exists/were added.

Downgrading a previous 5 star to a 2 star. The ads have gotten much, much worse, and more frequent, and longer. This used to be primarily banner ads, but now every time you try and use it, just when you're getting a string close to tuned, *boom* here's a 30 second ad that won't give you a close button at the end, you have to force close the app to get out of it. If you're tuning a guitar, expect at least two 30 second ads before you get it done

This used to be the best tuner app on the market. Now there's long intrusive video ads, that take up the whole screen and it's impossible to move past them without clicking on them and opening a popup. That's bad enough, but the app waits until AFTER you start tuning to show you the ad. So you get halfway through tuning and then a long ad comes up so you have to stop what you're doing and wait for this ad, click on it just to make it go away, to finish your tuning. Find another one

Used this app for years but over time the ads have gotten more horrendous. They pop up within 5 seconds of opening the app and they are impossible to close. Think like the X button literally moves or isn't even there and you MUST click on the ad and get dragged over to the app store prompted to purchase some silly game that says you're low IQ if you can't beat the simple little puzzles. Total clickbait entrapment.

Great tuner, it's almost as good as my ear! Nice big visual gauge so you don't need it quiet for that last , fast fine tuning perfection that our ( my ) ears demand. As for ads, I can't be impartial because I absolutely DETEST, LOATHE, HATE CANNOT STAND I WANT TO SHOOT MYSELF (or Someone) IN THE HEAD, ADS! They jump in front of where your finger is about to be, at exactly when. Other than that, great app!

It's very accurate with the tuning. It has an add that pops up after a couple seconds or so after you watch the one add to get the tuning you want. I've also noticed that after a couple things it locks you out for the day. I'd say the premium version is worth it. This app works best when your mobile is connected to a bluetooth speaker.

Sorry, no. You're going to suddenly blockade me with a full screen ad that doesn't tell me how long it is and takes an extra effort to minimize, in case--got forbid--I need to use my phone for something else at that very moment? No, sir. 1 star. I'll gladly pay $ for an ap that doesn't engage in that kind of shenanigans.

This is the best tuner app ever! Unlike most other apps, you have access to any and every tuning option with just one ad. The only real problem i have is the ad that pops up at the start of use. It never loads right away, instead it shows up while you're in the middle of tuning. Besides this single ad, however, this app is perfect and is definitely worth a download!

Free to download but you'll need to pay if you want to tune anything other than a standard acoustic or bass guitar. I wasn't actually able to tune my guitar at all. The interface is unintuitive, clunky, incomplete and confusing. Look elsewhere or buy a real tuner, they're inexpensive and your phone's mic is a far cry from the real deal.

Great app, but terrible ad system. I've gotten multiple ads where I couldn't exit out of them after it was done wasting my time. So it ends up wasting even more of my time closing the app and reopening. I would probably pay for the pro version if this version didn't feel so scummy. I will be uninstalling this and looking for an alternative that respects it's users time. If I'm tuning my guitar, it means I'm ready to play, not go through the hassle of finaggling with my phone.

It's pretty good. Wish I could use alternate tuning presets without subscription....I mean.....it's really not the kind of app that I need to use very often. Maybe once a week. It needs to offer much more to warrant a subscription price. However, for what it is, it works very well and I enjoy the audio strings to tune by ear to if I so desire.

Good tuner, BUT, like others complain about, within a matter of seconds, full page ads pop up, blocking the tuner, while you figure out how to make them close. To avoid this, you have to agree to buy the app, but nowhere could I find the price before committing to buying. I'm not doing that. Maybe I just missed the price. Or, they don't want you to see it. Update... 4/15/24 I decided to give it another chance, on another phone. It is worse than before. Unuseable due to ad problem.

This app used to be absolutely amazing. However, recently, for some reason, they're trying to smash as many ads as possible and force you to go to the premium version. You can hardly even use the app if you're basic. I don't know if it's a glitch, but every time I try to just say stick to basic, it puts me into an ad loop that doesn't stop. Shame.

Ads are terrible on this app. It used to be that you could tune one or two strings before interruptions by mandatory ads, but now it's gotten worse. Literally cannot tune a single string. They also removed offline mode, so it's completely impossible to even try to tune a string without an online connection, which is there for no other purpose or function other than to prevent use of the app. Would not recommend.

Pretty good tuning app. I wish it would "ding" or "beep" when the desired note is reached, perhaps I just couldn't figure out how to turn sound on... ? Also would be neat if it allowed different tuning keys for guitar, for FREE. Can't 100% recall, but I believe this one wants you to pay to upgrade to tune in modes other than standard -EADGBE. Overall pretty dang good though👍
