Love this app, but... please add Cardboard support? Or "split screen VR". Whatever it is, nowadays. I know Cardboard didn't take off too well, but... this app is the absolute PERFECT trippy visuals for my music! Total deep relaxation... except I have to stream it from a secondary Discord on a virtual Android in "split screen" app layout to get it working on my Cardboard 🥲 I just want a VR music visualizer. And this one has the most CRISP and engaging visuals!
Reviews for projectM Music Visualizer Pro
fantastic app. probably the best music visualizer I've ever had both in visuals and movement to music. I bought this app like 10 or 15 years ago and have just been moving it from old phone to new phone and it's got to be one of the best apps I've ever used. I set the visualizer as my screensaver and I'm constantly getting a compliments when people look down at my phone. beautiful! 10 stars
This app is probably the best visualizer out there. My only complaint is there should be an option to darken the visuals in live wallpaper mode, it can be hard to navigate when bright colors are flashing everywhere. It would also be nice if the gestures worked in wallpaper mode. Add these options and I'll give 5 stars
I just bought it and this app is a pretty nice idea but it needs some work. It's pretty ridiculous that I can't navigate to another app while this is playing on my Chromecast. It pauses if I change app, essentially holding my whole phone hostage if I want to use the visualizer. Also if I'm editing the settings and press back the Chromecast connection is lost and music starts playing off my phone. Oh and it steals audio from all other apps, playing nothin. Fix this and you'll get a better rating.
Best visualizer by far. However, I would suggest making some simple changes to make it even better. First, Create a button that can turn off the visualizer from both the app and home screen. (the buttons at the bottom of the app don't really work somehow). Second, Put more gestures so we can draw with 2 or more fingers rotate and do more ypes of cool tricks more easily. Third, add favorurite options for the visualizer so we can save them if we like. Thank you.
Great app, would be 5 stars the problem is that I can only use it on my phone - google play says both the free and paid versions are incompatible with my android box, but when I download the .apk for the free version from elsewhere it works perfectly fine (in fact better than my phone) but I'm unwilling to put up with the incredibly annoying ads - especially since I've paid for it - please change this...
I love you! Always loved Milkdrop. The beauty of it as given here just makes it even better! It's really melodic for a daydream if you target the fps to 24. Great for parties, can cast this to your TV or better yet, actually run it on an Android TV/box. There are some presets i really love and use as live wallpaper on single preset mode. Pure genious, thankyou!
Absolutely love this app, downloaded it to try it out and ended up paying for the pro version almost immediately. After using it for a couple of evenings casting to my TV I have a couple of suggestions: 1. Ability to add visuals to playlists via long press menu while browsing, copying and pasting is clunky 2. Colour theme presets that recolour all visuals, eg Forest = greens, Sea = blues/greens, Fire = reds/yellows/orange etc. and maybe ability to create custom presets with RBG sliders 3. USB OTG support for audio input. This means you could run an audio signal from an external soundcard directly into the phone instead of using the microphone 4. Choose folder on your device to randomly pull photos/transparent PNGs from and blend with visuals...maybe with the option to adjust how often they appear and distortion/movement effects I think adding these features would make the app a lot more useful for things like low-budget club visuals, and if they were to be unlocked via a paid add-on I would 100% buy it and sure a lot of other people would too. But still, it's a fantastic app. Keep up the great work!!
I have been using this app since 2013 or so I think I have paid for the pro version under 2 different Google accounts and thoroughly enjoy it but I agree with someone else that commented about the Google TV version. If you pay for the Pro version in the play store it should work across all android devices, there should be no additional charge. Amazing app though it has provided hrs of entertainment when a light show was needed but not around lol.
Really cool app if all you want to do is look at the visualizations on your phone. I bought the app to be able to cast to my Chromecast and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to cast the visualizations. If I can get an answer to that, it is automatically a five-star app
