Description
Been using PromptSmart+ for a couple months now. It’s basically a teleprompter app that automatically scrolls as you speak, without needing the internet. Pretty solid if you do a lot of presentations or video recording.
Here’s what you do: you can type in your script, then PromptSmart will follow along as you read it out loud. There’s also voice recognition that pauses the scrolling if you start improvising. And the app will wait for you to pick up the script again before continuing. Comes in handy when you need to go off-script for a bit.
Look, if you’re into presentation tools or video production, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the setup can be a little tricky at first – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on PromptSmart+. I've tested a bunch of teleprompter apps and this one's pretty solid. The automatic scrolling is a game-changer - it keeps you focused and prevents those awkward pauses. I also like how it handles improvisation, it's a nice safety net. On the downside, the initial setup can be a bit confusing if you're not tech-savvy. And the voice recognition isn't 100% perfect, it sometimes misses a word or two. But overall, it's a really useful tool that makes presentations way less stressful.
