Been using the Providence app for a couple months now. It’s basically a one-stop shop for all your Providence healthcare needs – you can book appointments, get virtual care, access your medical records, and more. Pretty solid app if you’re looking to stay on top of your health.
Here’s what you can do: there’s a section for booking appointments with your care team, and you can even do virtual visits through the app. It’s got your medical records too, so you can check test results and notes from past appointments. And if you ever need urgent care, you can find the nearest clinic and even check the wait times before you go.
Look, if you’re a Providence patient, you’ll probably find this app really helpful. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit confusing at first – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want an easy way to manage your healthcare.

So here's my honest take on the Providence app. I've tested a bunch of medical apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The core features like booking appointments and accessing records work really well. And i like that you can do virtual visits too - that's super convenient. The only downside is the interface can be a bit clunky at times, but once you get used to it, it's not too bad. If you're a Providence patient, I'd say it's definitely worth downloading.

since the July, 2025 update, the app now has bugs, and crashes before it completes loading. currently unusable.
Always able to get quick responses from my doctor and care team. This app is amazing!
Horribly slow with connection to MyChart. I don't see any value to this to replace the faster MyChart app.
