I really liked the app at first. However support for the app is not even close to ideal. A phone number would be great to contact. However I made two transfers from my bank to the app but they said it timed out. However the transfer still got charged from my account. So even now I still have no resolve after contacting customer service. I just want my money back that was unfairly charged. Update. They did end up fixing the situation thankfully. However a phone line would be great

Trying to withdrawl my "withdrawable funds" and I can't. Everytime I try it says "bank rejected" I have tried reloading bank info and used a different account and still nothing. I called my bank and they said they haven't gotten anything to reject. Holy cow! I am definitely starting to feel like this app is a super scam! Update- they did fix that issue and funded my account. I haven't had any other problems so far but I also haven't tried to take anything out again yet

This app is terrible. I can't do anything because it keeps giving me a "connection reset" error. I have reset my phone, force closed the app, and recently uninstalled and reinstalled. Since reinstalling, I can't even open the app because it keeps closing itself. I bought a few stocks when I first downloaded the app (that was the first and last time I could get in), set recurring purchases in a couple stocks, and now my money is just sitting there because I literally can't access the app.

public is a huge downgrade from robinhood. UI is very similar, but the quality of the UI is terrible. I placed a limit order for an options contract. I click edit and get to the edit screen to change the price of my limit order. I GOT TO THE SCREEN TO EDIT, but somehow the order did not cancel and I ended up buying 2 of the same contract, which I did not want. plus the first contract got filled at a way higher price. never had this issue on robinhood

Buggy. Can't get rid of notifications. Applications don't submit properly, and the app blames my poor connection, which is simply not the case. Otherwise, it's a decent experience for retail. Financial fundamentals are something people should not be paying for. All brokers should offer those for free as a convenience to their customers. The data is available for free in many places such as yahoo finance.

I tried to create an account , was very excited to try your platform. I went through the questions and set up my debit card, address etc... and 4 times in a row went through the whole thing made a 5 dollar deposit and got booted out every time and still says I have to set up the account. Have not had this problem anywhere else. It's a big problem for you guys if new customers can't even set up an account

Changing my review from 5 🌟 to 1 🌟. Changed bank accounts so they locked me out when it left a 15$ balance, I took care of that as soon as it posted. So for 15$ (my fault I get that) but was paid as soon as notified, I now cannot trade for a week. Taking my money elsewhere. Response: the balance was fixed, this has nothing to do with day trading. Maybe read the communications I had with your reps before making assumptions. Two more days till they release my money and I can leave. 🤦‍♂️

Can no longer login as of a couple weeks ago. It used to log me in automatically, then one day it asked for my email and password. So I let autocomplete do it's thing. "An error occurred" so I typed in the password directly. "An error occurred" so I pressed "forgot password" and reset it to my usual. "An error occurred" so I deleted and reinstalled it. Still "an error occurred" ...I can't get in. I would at least like to pull money out if it's not going to work.

Overall it's a good app. I like the idea of easy bond buying but stock and especially options trading have a long way to go and be more fluid. Most of the time customer service is helpful. Proceed with caution if you want to do options trading on this platform. As of writing my issue was that my short spread was showing gains when it reality were losses. I informed them of this multiple times but to my knowledge they have not done anything.

Love the fact that they don't use darkpools. But the app is not fun to use at best and has bugs at worst. Example: the graph default for your current value is 1 day and it takes so long to load other scales that it's difficult to wait. You almost want to leave your phone on the table and walk away while it loads "1 month" scale. Sometimes clicking other scales on the graph freeze the app entirely. Placing trades coerces you into posting it and it is difficult and weird to back away from that.
