So here's my take on qBittorrent Remote. I've tested a bunch of torrent management apps and this one's pretty solid. The core functionality works well - you can easily add new downloads, monitor progress, and control the server. I like that you can switch between global and backup speed limits, that's a nice power user feature. On the downside, the UI is a little dated and takes some getting used to. And I wish there were more advanced features like scheduling or remote desktop access. But for a free app, it's definitely worth having in your toolbox if you use qBittorrent.

Description

Been using qBittorrent Remote for a couple months now. It’s basically a remote control app for the popular qBittorrent torrent client. Pretty solid if you’re into managing your downloads on the go.

Here’s what you can do: you can add new torrents via magnet link or torrent file, pause/resume downloads, delete stuff, and even change the save location. And there’s also a speed limit switcher – pretty useful if you need to throttle your bandwidth. And you can manage multiple qBittorrent servers all from one app, which is a nice touch.

Look, if you’re a qBittorrent user, you’ll probably find this handy. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need a mobile way to control your downloads.
