Been using the Qibla Compass: Al Quran app for a couple months now. It’s basically a GPS compass that helps Muslims find the direction of Qibla, which is the direction of the Kaaba in Mecca. Pretty solid app if you’re into prayer and religious tools.
Here’s what you can do: you just open the app and it uses your phone’s GPS to show you the exact direction of Qibla from your current location. There’s also a feature that gives you the distance to Mecca, which is kind of cool. And you can set alarms to remind you when it’s time for the 5 daily prayers – took me a while to figure that one out but it’s really useful.
Look, if you’re a practicing Muslim, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job of being an accurate Qibla compass. Worth checking out.
