So here's my honest take on RainFocus Lead Retrieval. I've tested a bunch of lead capture apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The core features work well and it's easy to use, though the design feels a little outdated. And compared to some other options, it's missing a few bells and whistles like real-time analytics and advanced qualification. But for basic lead collection and follow-up, it gets the job done. I'd recommend it for small to medium-sized events, but power users might want something with more robust features.

  • Lets you add custom questions and notes for each lead
  • Can send collateral content directly to leads from the app
  • Syncs leads to your CRM to follow up later

Cons

  • User interface feels a bit dated and clunky
  • Lacks advanced analytics and lead scoring tools
  • Upgrading to premium features can get pricey for larger events

Description

Been using RainFocus Lead Retrieval for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you capture leads at events by scanning people’s info on your own device. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do – you can scan attendees’ badges or business cards, edit their info, add custom questions and notes. There’s also a feature to send them content right from the app, which is pretty cool. And you can sync the leads to your CRM system – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.

Look, if you’re into event tech and lead gen, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need an easy way to collect leads at your next conference or trade show.
