I would like to start by saying this is not my rating of their food, but of the app itself. Food is amazing and highly recommend, but their app is essentially non functional. Despite updates and uninstall/reinstalls, the app cannot connect to the login server, meaning it's a glorified placeholder and can't even serve to order food or view my rewards (of which they rarely ever have). My in person and drive thru ordering have never had issues, so stick with that; you're not missing anything here.

I wish I could give negative stars for this app. 1 star is far too many for this pitiful excuse for an app.
App DOES NOT WORK!!! Why?! I don't understand how a simple app can't work properly like any other fast food apps. It's simple, no one wants to wait in your long lines, so we use your app for convenience and to save our precious time. If your app doesn't work as it's supposed to, then you just lost another customer. This happened last week, and I went to In n Out instead. I guess it's another double-double for lunch.
Basically this app is only for online ordering.. I wish there was more to it! as far as I'm concerned every restaurant should have some type of rewards program and theirs is weird. It's actually kind of shady where it's not advertised that you can get one free meal when signing up.. but that's it, there arent points and there are never coupons or deals. even when I've seen various promotions advertised online, it never pops up in the app, no notifications. Nothing to keep me going back a lot.
Excited to finally have a location near by (colma) but it's been nothing but problems with app. At first could not add caniac club number (finally done), which meant I lost out on points for first two orders. Still can't place order online. When at checkout keep getting error message that basket can't be validated. Can't send email. Keep getting told its an invalid recipient
Every time I try to log in since the week of August 19th, it says there is a log in issue. It refuses to let me log in on phone, giving me an error message, unless I sign in on my PC, to which what's the point of having this app if I can't use it? Was very useful and quick, saved me the trouble of being on the line when ordering. I will rate this 5 stars once this tech issue has been fixed.
App never works!!! I love Cane's, but the app constantly freezes. I will clear the cache, but when I log in again all I get is a blank screen. The app constantly logs me out, but every time I try to log in it doesn't work. It's so frustrating. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it several times, but the results are always the same. Please fix that app!
The only plus to using the app is that you can find your nearest location. The curbside and drive through options are always unavailable so you have to go into the store anyway. This may only be a failing of this particular location in Muncie, IN, but it still bugs me that we have all this functionality in an app and can't use ⅔ of the services. Good food, I guess?
Unfortunately, I've not been able to complete an order through this app. Every time I try to start an order, whether I select "ASAP" or the order for later option, it comes up with an error. I tried multiple months apart with updates in between, uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing the cache, restarting my phone - it just won't work. It seems to work fine on multiple of my family members' phones, so I guess I will just rely on them to place orders 🤷♀️.
Every time I try to use this app, it never lets you order. It always says there was an error loggin in. I'm talking about not a single incident, but months! I believe that their stores are so overwhelmed, they won't let you order online and force you the route of the long line by the drive through. They don't even have the mobile person to take orders anymore outside. This place doesn't care about customer satisfaction. I would give zero stars if there was an option for it.
keeps readding coleslaw every time I remove it and ask for extra toast. theres a reason I'm removing it, and its really very annoying, at the bare minimum, that the app isn't taking the order as you put it in. and honestly the first couple times I though I forgot to change it, so now I'm extra vigilant and it keeps changing it. I HATE coleslaw and don't want it, and it's waste of food to force it onto someone's order when it's just gonna end up in the trash can.
Never let's me log in, Just takes my passwork and then goes to a blank screen, and you can't bypass it by trying to check out as a guest because as soon as you try and check out, it makes you either sign up or log in. Then I'm just stuck looking at a blank screen.. again, and as soon as I back out of it, it's back asking me to sign up or log in. This app is just a useless waste of storage on my phone. DO NOT RECOMMEND. UNINSALLING.
Why is the app so bad? I have to force close and open two times just to complete an order. It freezes up when ordering a fountain drink, then freezes up when choosing a payment. Happened the last two times here. Can't use Google Pay, doesn't recognize a saved credit card to my wallet. No way I trust them saving my credit card info. Please hire a competent app developer. Four months later, the app is no better.
Hands down the worst food app I've ever used and yall just don't care to fix it. Signs me out for no reason then when signing back in, loads a blank screen. If you can ever get in and order, it'll just freeze on the disco ball when you try to check out. Then rather than fix the issues that NUMEROUS people complain about, they just give their generic oh no call us response. Why? So you can continue to not fix it? update: literally won't even load in. the app is overall very buggy and slow. it also signs you out too frequently. About half the time, I spend more time getting logged in and trudging through the ordering process, than time I would have spent just going to the restaurant and waiting in line. It defeats the purpose of the app. The one saving grace is that re-ordering previous orders is MOSTLY fine. But god help you if you need to change which location you're ordering from.
Despite the fact that most of the recent (as of December 18, 2024) reviews say the app sucks and they can't login, I decided to give it a go. Filed out all the required info. Created a password that checked all the requirements. Clicked the links for the privacy policy and "Terms and Conditions" (links didn't go anywhere) the sign up button stayed grey and did not work.
The online ordering features are convenient and easy to use. You can customize combo orders or add on individual items like extra tenders or extra Texas toast. I'm having difficulty understanding the purpose of the Caniac Club. I've been a member since April 2024 and I don't see any benefits that I've been able to take advantage of in that entire time. I can't even find any promotional emails with offers or rewards despite multiple in store and in app orders. 🤷🏻♂️
Literally the worst app I have ever used. NEVER takes my payment. Every single time I've tried. Deleted app, closed out app, etc. won't do it. Decided to download it again today after a couple months and still just says "Currently unable to take your order". My debit card is correct and I have money lol 😆 It's never been so hard to order something in my life.
STOP logging me out of the damn app. It is absolutely annoying having to log into this thing when I use the app every couple weeks. On more than a half a dozen occasions, that has caused me to order something from elsewhere to eat. Preferably an app that doesn't log me out all the time. Other apps have it figured out. It's not that hard.
The app mechanics are absolutely horrible. It won't let me order ahead despite the restaurant being well past opening. I can't even schedule an order for a couple hours from now. Plus changing my password was an absolute nightmare and there is no option for the app to remember your email and password, forcing you to type them in anytime you attempt to log in. Why can the app just remember my log in and log me in automatically? Every other one of my food apps remembers my log in. So annoying
