Been using Rankontre: Match. Chat. Date. for a couple months now. It’s basically a dating app where you can match, chat, and potentially meet up with other Haitian singles and folks from different ethnic backgrounds. And pretty solid app if you’re into that kinda thing.

Here’s what you do: You create a profile, add some pics, and start swiping. There’s also an option to go incognito and control who sees your profile, which is pretty cool. And you can video chat with matches before meeting up – that’s a nice feature so you can get a feel for someone first.

Look, if you’re looking to connect with other Haitian singles or people from diverse backgrounds, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the user base is still kinda small and there can be some dead chat conversations. But overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re in the dating scene.

So here's my honest take on Rankontre: Match. Chat. Date. I've tested a bunch of dating apps and this one seems pretty solid for Haitian singles and folks from other ethnic groups too. And the matching and chatting features work well, and the video call option is a nice way to vet potential dates before meeting up. The user base is growing but it's still relatively small compared to some bigger dating apps. And there can be some ghosting/dead chats, which is annoying. But for the most part, it's a pretty good option if you're looking to make meaningful connections.
