Freakin awesome, I keep all my books on readera. PDFs, text files, etc all look great automatically upon opening in terms of formatting. Sometimes the buttons get a little "sticky" (ex. after closing the app while reading and then reopening it, I cant always open the settings menu by tapping on the page I have to close the book and open it again) but that's easily worked around. Night, night contrast, and day settings fit every reading environment's light level so it's always comfortable.

I love to read! I spend any free time reading and everyone needs a habit, reading is mine. As I've gotten older, late 50's'ish, I have found that I can still read and hear what I'm seeing or just listen. I've spead up the audio and can read faster now. On the flip-side, the voices don't change from character to character and it pronounces words wrong at times.

Great for what this app capable of. I mean not overwhelming but useful. All the option and functions are minimal and easy to use. And those are helpful also. No worries reading any of the formats. Basically it solves every problem. But if you consider to edit files then it's not the match. It's for reading only and it's best in it.

This has been my go to reading app for YEARS. Except, today I been getting file error/decoding error on some of the books (.epub/.mobi file extensions). I previously read these books on this app (2years ago) with no issues/errors. The phone and files are the same as they have been (no changes). I may have no choice but to find a new reader.

I've been using this app for several years, and it's hands down the best I've found. It keeps track of what you're reading and where you left off. It supports full-text search and gives you access to a table of contents (from anywhere in the document) if the PDF you're reading supports it. And the free edition isn't polluted with ads (just has a couple limited features compared to the paid version).

I wish that there were more free options, at very least allowing the lock screen while audio is reading. only real complaint is the fact that it will stop reading after a certain amount of time and you cannot start a book, and it will read it all the way to the end.... also you can't avoid it reading credits on the bottom of pages when it's reading to you, needs an option to avoid certain different parts like headers, citations, and page number in the middle of sentences especially page to page

does exactly what I want it to. opens a wide range of book formats, memorizes the spots in the books, easy page tracking, has multiple page formats, it's just an all around good app for anybody who wants to read books. Later update: It's gotten some adjustments for QoL. It's actually better than it was when i downloaded it, so kudos for making improvements on what was already a good app. Even further in the future: even more QoL changes. Still 0 complaints.

Better than I expected, there's a lot of worthless apps on here advertising different than what they give, but this one is as it says on the tin. Keeps your place when you leave the app, stores the file exactly as it comes, and is very customizable. I didn't change the font or background, but I'm sure the feature is a great addition for people who struggle reading under certain conditions.

This is a great reader for my purposes. It's maybe not one of the most fleshed out readers out there, but for being free and having NO ADS (a rarity for apps these days), it's fantastic. If you have the money, I'd say support them and buy the premium version; I know I will once I've got some extra money to spend. They deserve it for making the free version as accessible as it is.

it's my go to for all my ebook downloads. I wasnt crazy about it at first. I was still using my overdrive APK. ended up having to use this for a PDF I was wanting to read and the more I used it the more I liked it. tons of settings with ez interface. I like the A.I. reader on this better than speechify. both the free versions anyway. this has many more voices and dialects. they aren't as good as the paid ones. but they sound close to having inflections and speech patterns. Speechify s free are🤖

Very good for reading all kinds of documents. Chm docs have weird formatting, but are otherwise readable. It is the best reader, by far, that I was able to find about 4 years ago, and I have been using it since. I have not used many features, but have not noticed a bug yet. Fantastic job to the developers! Update: The back button, after selecting a link in a PDF, does not work anymore.

5/5 The BEST ebook app I've ever used. I'm contemplating buying the premium app, but I have heard that it's glitchy. ReadEra is amazing because it has NO ads, (even the free version) it reads most doc types, it has a built-in Kids' lock mode, and more. It is the best ebook app that I have found. Before I found ReadEra, I used Adobe Acrobat, but their paid version is ridiculously expensive, and you can do nothing except open docs in the free version. I deleted Adobe, and now use ReadEra instead.

While the features may feel "barebones" to some, it's exactly what I'm looking for. I want an app that can open my files, from various locations, with some amount of visual and functional customization and that can keep track of where I am Within the file. I do wish opening images to zoom in were a little less cumbersome; tapping, zooming, and the closing the image feels clunky in comparison to the rest of the app. That Aside, ReadEra is a wonderful app. Simple and effective and all without ads.

good free ebook app with plenty of features to customize the reading experience. I do wish though there was an option to make the app theme of a light type as it would have been helpful to see the settings clearly on e-ink devices. I am not sure if the option is available on premium version, if it is available through premium purchase I won't mind paying for just that one thing to make it a default e-reader across all devices.

Much better than it used to be... but it STILL doesn't allow me to zoom in on epubs... making it totally useless for reading children's books and crafting/DIY manuals... which is why I needed it. And the developers waited a year or more to respond to my last review the last time I tried the app (7 years ago). Guys: responding after more than 3 months makes you look worse than not responding, at all. Free pro-tip ;-)

I love this app! I read constantly, and I have hundreds of e-books. There is no better app to read them on! I can edit the files, can tag them into overly-specific collections, can bookmark my place and make notes! Just an absolutely wonderful program! I would give it a hundred stars if I could!

I really enjoyed using this app and have moved to the premium version. I enjoy reading but whenever I wanted to get busy, I'd just switch to listening until I could go back to reading. I switched to premium because I wanted to be able to do other things with my phone while listening and though they're AI voices doing the reading, they're frankly doing a better job than many narrators out there, lol. So, yes, I recommend and am happy with my premium purchase too.

GREAT eReader, but it can't translate emoji's, and I can't see some images. The emoji's are translated into Chinese characters and the images are so small I can't see them or make them bigger. the third issue (more a personal preference than an issue) when set to scroll instead of flipping pages you can still see the page separation lines. there's a bar at the bottom that says what page you're on, so the lines are unnecessary & sometimes throw me out of the story.

Very handy! I read a lot of fanfiction all at once and keeping tabs open slows my phone, so this has been a godsend! love the fact I can also delete files from the app itself which makes downloading updates easier since I don't have to dig through my downloads to get rid of the old one, thus saving having multiple of the same file in storage. The collections option is also great for when I have the odd receipt pdf so i can sort thise out of regular reading. :)

I really enjoy this AI Audio reader. I like to read and listen to my books but I can't always afford the audible. This is an awesome Plan B. I immediately purchased the premium option without question. Premium is a one-time charge and it's under $15. You have lots of AI voices that you can choose from. Including Australian, United Kingdom, English and more. I highly recommend this app for people that like things read to them; for whatever reason!
