The best.. This is by far the best ebook reader for android. Does almost anything you want it to read. The search option is awesome absolute time saver and as well as the table of contents option. I love the options to have the display of the page and text layout. Very slick with page movements. But my favorite part is the text to speech option. This is a game changer for anyone who is used to audiobooks or uses audible. There's a bunch of different voices to choose and they all sound great. 👍

Great app! I only have two requests. I like to highlight what I am reading, as im reading it, with the text to voice reader that has yellow highlighting and navigation, please make the nav buttons bigger, it's too small for my phone & fingers. Also more natural voice over would be great. My textbooks have lots of side notes, and the jump in tone is disorienting.

At first, after purchasing this, I thought that the syncing was not working correctly since a bunch of files seemed like they weren't syncing onto the secondary device because it said that there documents without files. Later, I discovered that when I searched for those same books on the Read Era app, they really were there after all. So, if you have a similar issue, that might help. Reaching out to their tech support was very helpful and they were very responsive over email.

I do really like it, but the audio reader keeps on skipping some words and small sentences that creates long pauses. It's not like it's reading bad words either. Hope this gets fixed. Other than that I have no real issues. I download books left and right with no problems. And they have a couple of different voices for the audio reader.

This is a decent reader, once I got the pro version. It reads a lot of file formats. It has a decent audio reader that will run even when my screen goes dark. The voice is very computer sounding, it doesn't do phrasing - it just reads the words. It's relatively easy to get to a place to start. You can copy, translate, there's a dictionary, and you can leave notes.

I'm always skeptical about paying more than maybe $2 for an app, but the free version of this one is really generous and the paid version actually *adds* to it instead of unlocking things one would consider basic features that should have been free from the start. Very much worth it. Really enjoy this app and feel like it's more than worth the cost. It does everything I need/want it to do (backups & folders mainly) and the UI is pleasant.

The audio reader can be configured to use your own local (and potentially customized) text to speech (TTS) engine. Making this insanely affordable compared to voice readers apps that charge you as a service for $100 a year or steal your information to provide a usable service. This is one of the few apps that hasn't made me regret buying it. Would donate post purchase because its updates are so steadily improving the usability without succumbing to fad-y nonsense. Great overall reader.

I love it enough to pay for it only problem is that the text to speech has a hard time pronouncing names especially non english ones (no surprise) and will also change pronunciation of words depending on where they are in a sentence to something completely out of left field. I still love it and recommend it tho to all my fic girlies who need a placr to store and read their fics🥰

The only problem I've had is when using tts occasionally it will come across something it doesn't know and pause. I wish there was an option to all it to skip the things it doesn't understand. It is usually a symbol or something like "..." which pops up occasionally. Other than that I love the app and have been using it for years

Can't figure out the multi-color highlighters option for quotes (was a selling point for me). The read-aloud function is not bad! TBH, it doesn't seem all that different from the free version, but I love that one so this is basically That, plus some other things that may or may not be more colorful.

Best EReader on the Market! doesn't have any issues with files I download, super easy to navigate. I was using the free version for the longest time, then decided to spoil myself. love the audio novel option for when I'm busy and unable to actively read a book. though I enjoy the page like looks when I am free to just sit down and read. 10/10 and will certainly recommend to friends!

I've been using ReadEra Premium for years now. I've always liked apps that are minimal, so this app's focus on function is perfect for me. That said, the only thing I wish it had an ability to sync my library, page numbers, quotes, and books with my apps on other devices so that I could switch between my phone and tablet. But even without a syncobg feature, it's a great app if you want something simple but well executed.

it works well enough, I suppose. but it has a very limited pool of voices to choose from, and it adds no emotion it it's very bare for a paid app. the only thing is when I was looking for an app to read my books to me, a big factor was listening to it without my phone being open ( I have a Samsung Galaxy Z flip 5) but when attempting to find an option I couldn't find it, and when my phone is closed it will finish reading the sentence it pauses itself. &every so often it refuses to move lines.

I like this app so much that I bought the premium version. I upgraded for the text to speech function. I use the text to speech function because it reminds me of my old 2012 kindle, and I can listen to the "audiobooks" on long drives with my phone off. You get a stellar reading experience on either version, but I really like the QOL features, such as the expanded bookshelf and better highlight functionality. you cannot go wrong with either, and for less than the price of lunch, it is worth it.

very helpful for reading a number of files and being able to keep them organized as well. while you can definitely get by with the free version the premium allowing app closing text to speech is very very nice! I like that you can select a single file for it to access without it asking for full permission for you entire phone like most other apps.

If I knew this app required internet to work I would have never bought it. I installed it on a mostly offline ereader. If it's not connected to the Internet it stops working. Who does that? eBooks are stored locally. Completely illogical and unacceptable. I would like a refund actually. This is the most I've ever paid for an app. Outrageous.

I don't quite understand the point of having the Checksums. Seems like overkill. I recently fixed some PDFs to add OCR text and despite having the same filename in the same file location the app thinks it's a different book and won't open from the old entry, losing all my bookmarks and such. At least let me toggle that off. Other than that this app is great especially with the option to open multiple books at once. I use it for my TTRPG PDFs and makes cross referencing a breeze.

I found ReadEra Premium while looking for a low cost alternative to BookFusion. BookFusion's subscription fees were too high for me. But I wanted an app that would sync my books between devices. ReadEra Premium is the best. For a one time fee, I can sync all of my books across all of my devices using my Google Drive to store my books. This app is awesome. Support is good too. I emailed them a question and they got back to me within 48 hours.

I really enjoy this AI Audio reader. I like to read and listen to my books but I can't always afford the audible. This is an awesome Plan B. I immediately purchased the premium option without question. Premium is a one-time charge and it's under $15. You have lots of AI voices that you can choose from. Including Australian, United Kingdom, English and more. I highly recommend this app for people that like things read to them; for whatever reason!

This is one of the most useful tools I've had the good fortune to install. I used the free version for only a few days before purchasing the paid version. While I do have a huge Kindle library, they don't trust their customers with the full version of the books they buy, so they should not be surprised that I value those who do. Project Gutenberg, Humble Bundle, the Von Mises Library, and a mort of others make an app like ReadEra outright essential. Combined with Calibre, it's a treasure!
