Starts out as a free app that works great. After a few months it becomes a $10 a month app (add on after original post and reply) --> For some reason it didn't let me go past the ad info to pay. When the app loaded , but now it goes right into the app. Thanks for the quick reply.

It is so nice to have an app that actually blocks these unwanted calls so I no longer have to worry about my phone ringing off the hook day in and day out. I'm thankful and relieved that this app actually works. It just blocked a spam number that's been particularly pesky and troublesome as I write this.

Lots of the reviews reflect that users uninstalled this app because they were either- • new and ran into a pay grab without a free choice visible so they uninstalled and moved on, OR • existing users suddenly asked to pay for features that were previously free so uninstalled. The Devs reply there is a free version too and how to find it. But with a more obvious free version button they would attract and keep more customers. People don't want Xtra obstacles and they don't want to be tricked .

After months. was unable to get. all features to work. messaged to the vendor never provided any answers that resolved the issues. Logs were sent, but no help. I have stopped trying and have removed this app. I do not recommend it. Callers still do not hear the answering message., no beep, nothing. no clear instructions on how to fix this. today removeing the app entirely because if disabled it causes problems with sms texting.

Highly recommend! Works great. No exaggeration, I was getting up to 20 calls a day due to getting someone else's old phone number. Bad part is I have to have my phone turned on and up due to a sick family member. So in the middle of working (not a job where I can check all calls without getting in trouble) I would get several spam calls. First day after I got the app it blocked 12 calls. Considering the peace of mind it is well worth it.

Typically I don't leave reviews but this app does actually work. I would get around 15 spam calls a day. Since I downloaded the app they are non existent. Not one has been able to reach me. My phone doesn't even ring when the numbers are blocked. Just pops up with a notification. I'd like to thank the developers of this app for helping me keep my sanity.

If you get nuisance robo, spam, VoIP calls & texts, this app is free, easy to navigate & does the job. I appreciate no longer being on the receiving end of spam & passive aggressive cowardice calls from people using fake numbers, I use the silent alert setting & am not even aware of attempted contact until I open the app. You can choose how or if you want to be alerted. Since I'd previously installed this app I simply tweaked the settings & voila! No unwanted anything.

Was great. But what they don't tell you and won't tell you is the yes it is free if you opt out of the subscription but after 30 days they make sure that you get every call it doesn't stop one my settings are right in the app and all. Then they put up this add thing saying 29.00 for 99% of the spam calls to be blocked which means the free part only shows you that someone's calling you with a blue banner and still let them call you. I would not recommend this app how much you're willing to pay.

This was a 5 star app. I think it was rated 4.8 when I installed it less than a year ago. App worked great. I noticed recently that my blocked calls weren't showing on my phone, and thought that I maybe had to adjust the settings. Discovered that they switched to a pay app. I even recommended this to several friends. Lame. Will be uninstalling and finding something else.

worked great, updates have worked well too, really couldn't be happier with this service. used to get like 10 spam calls a day all right around the same time of day, this nearly 100% stopped them. Sure some "verified numbers" came through bc the scammers have them now somehow but can't really blame this for that. it lets the calls I want in and blocks those I don't. Getting phone calls from legit places or for interviews, or offices, can be tricky but this app has been great for me. Thanks!

Edit: doing this helps me to easily ID people in my contact list; use random photos from doing a search and replace the standard Google placard with the ones you selected. So now when you get a phone call, it's easier to decide to answer or not. 🤜Awesome app,works great. 🤛 Edit: Just make sure to add your phone number to the "account." I haven't had one call get through that wasn't in my contacts.

Now a happy customer due to developer outreach to get the free version back. I do love this app as it does the job and is non intrusive with no ads. So if u have the new version, just X out of subscription screen and u are back in the free version again. I will say though, I'd pay for the premium version to help cover further development costs; if it was a one time only fee or a fair monthly subscription price like $3.99 a month :)))) Thank u support for helping me out.

Stopped working. This app used to work great. I wouldn't be interrupted by spam calls and instead, just see a small notice that a call was blocked. Then, when I tried to turn on the blocking of calls (after needing to receive calls outside of my contacts temporarily), the app just froze. I uninstalled/reinstalled and it never did anything but freeze each time I tried to turn on the feature to block calls outside of my contacts.

Great at blocking calls not in contact list or numbers you have exempted. However, it continues to block numbers even when I decide to turn off all blocking features (Ex. I'm expecting a return call not in my contact list). I can force quit the app, but it soon comes back on automatically. I contacted developers over a week ago about this, they responded next day to say they would look into it, but haven't heard back. Can't wait, had to uninstall. If they get this resolved, will give 5 stars.

I've been getting nonstop calls for the past 2 days (suspecting someone put my number out there), and this app saved me the time of having to decline the calls and manually block them every 10-15 minutes. I appreciate this being free because otherwise, I may have had to get a new phone number as I don't have the funds for a paid subscription. My only gripe is it doesn't seem to run in the background unless I leave it open, but that's not much of an issue

This app is AWESOME! I had 52 spam calls in 1 day. I went to the play store & downloaded several spam blocker apps only to delete them because they sucked. Then I found this one. It was amazing. I could still see when I got a spam call from the notification bar at the top of the screen. But my phone didn't ring & there was no interference if I was using another app at that time. Maybe once every 3 days one would get past the app but it was no problem at all. THE. BEST. APP. EVER.

This app saves my sanity! It accurately blocks dozens of spam calls daily. Real Call doesn't allow them to bother me at all - such a relief! There are options to allow only those in my contact list to call through as well as several other options to personalize how I use it. I don't often purchase app subscriptions but this one is absolutely worth the prices! Customer service is top notch. When I needed help with an issue they responded quickly to fix it. I'm very happy!

Way overzealous with call blocking. I have played with settings, and almost everything not saved in contacts, including a doctor's office, fails to get through to me, which is worse than useless. Every once in a while a normal call gets through, which is why it's better than 1*. Edit: Support says this issue can be resolved if it adds a few numbers to its safe list, or I add several dozen numbers, even from unexpected sources, to my contacts. (One doctor's office can have several numbers.)

I downloaded this earlier this week after I've been receiving at least 8 spam calls a day. This app has caught every single one of them, not a single one has slipped through, and the spammers even started using caller ID and leaving voice mails. This app is unreal! It's almost too good to be true for a free app, but I love it! I had to give it a review now instead of waiting to see if there is pay blocks, but I'll update if one ever comes up.

BLOCKS NOTHING! Literally lets calls labeled "potential spam" & "potential fraud" on my caller ID through. Not a single call was stopped. I didn't notice a difference at all. Still getting 10+ daily. I hate giving it a star at all--even 1 seems like a lie. Edit: but it will drain your battery because it's doing something useless in the background all the time. Not stopping calls, of course...but something that apparently requires a lot of energy.
