Good app for the phone but not for android car player although the app can also be installed using google play on car android player. Cannot load .rd file after we customize our dashboard ( i mean for car player) but no problem for mobile phone. Hope to get update for car player which i think this app should be meant for. Car player/ apple/ android may be the replacement for hp use while driving.Tq Update... Problem solved by installing 3rd party file manager

Absolutely endless options and customizations, if you're familiar with the term Easter egg, then you get me. But sometimes these Easter eggs can be a little bit hard to unscramble. And that's when you simply aske anybody there at the company in an email, and they will get everything squared away.

While I will admit, the graphics are superb and it works great even in my 98 gmc using bluetooth obd2, the full covering nag screen which surprising pops up out of nowhere while you are driving can get someone killed. Some of us use these type displays as our only dash. Original and custom, mine is so installed that i do not even have a way to reach the lcd without parting my dash. Developers should rethink this idea, there has to be other ways. Perhaps even separating a "fun" version from a serious version. Especially since much of the setup makes u feel like you are only using a game. I began to question if i was about to play 'need for speed' or use a "real" dash.I will be paying for the full version, but be warned if you use the trial as I did. Is the developer Mads Ager ? If so props to u man

Seem like a good app, though will not receive info that is readily available from OBD like coolant, also the gearing is wrong, it always seems to sktva gear higher than what I'm actually in. So it's obviously got some cooked maths somewhere in there. Looks like it has potential, but expand the capabilities of the OBD reader to actually pull useful information, or map it to the OBD sensors (Like Torque) and it'd be great!

Its just great. Ive had it and used it for over a year now. I sim race, and of corsa lol I drive a Rav4 as well. In the car, toss my phone into its clip, load the app and go. In the sim rig, again, clip my phone into it's mount and go. Oh and I also have it on my old Samsung Tab3, acting as a larger secondary sim dash behind the steering wheel, much like real dash gauges. With my Sim Racing, Im pretty picky. Im not disappointed with this app. With my real car, I couldn't really care, the app seems to work well, but I really only use it for the speedo function. In any case, I have no complaints, and as well, if i did, the developer seems to be around to help. Maybe the developer could build in a dash cam? that seems all its really missing for my needs. Thanks for a proper decent product. Much appreciated.

Just starting using the app and bought a new odb2 just to work with the app. it really looks cool and really wanted it to work but keeps crashing when connecting to ODB2 I thought it was me and then I really read the reviews and it makes sense. The app looks VERY COOL and would be the best on the market if it worked.

The app is designed very well, want to purchase the full version. But I am unable to configure the connection with my Android Auto for Volkswagen Polo 2013. Installed in Android Auto through another google account. The CarSetting app in Android Auto very well detect the speed, rpm, mileage etc etc with the default connection with the original cable without ODB2 But unable to find the tyoe of connection settings I have to configure in real dash to get the info. Please advice.

Greatest thing ever. Worked with my cheap no name china adapter worked with some branded obd2. No issues what so ever. Great design great functionality. Will buy in a week or so. And in my spare time should also find time to make a custom skin as well. So 5 stars. And that is something fully deserved for once

Absolutely fantastic app. As with most things this configurable, you will have to configure it first (eg I had to enter my cars gear ratios to correctly show which gear I was in). So please don't complain that it doesn't work right after you install it! Learn how to use the app properly, it's worth it! Only issue I have - there is almost no information or properly detailed manual. Eg: what are gague maths, and how do you use them? Devs - please improve / create detailed manuals!

Ok, had this for a few weeks now and paid for some premium dashboards. Great graphics of that there is no doubt, however when it comes to editing it's way too unpredictable, complicated and sensitive. I know there are some petrol heads out there that (At least claim they) understand it all but for your average joe like me it's too time consuming. I wish the developer luck and I'll pop back at a later date to see if things have improved (been simplified a little) but for me it's a no go

5 star app, period. Dev helped me with several issues on the windows version, this is the best thing for streamers and youtubers doing driving sims, run it on another computer with the data multicast, capture it, profit. Way, way better than a dinky little pedal display, and doesn't move around like your in game dash does, and it looks killer on a wheel mounted device like a fanatec wheel with your last ten unused phone.

Cool but very limited options, only 29 premium dash boards. Of those 29 there's only 2 I like and would use even if they were free. There's a lot of potential though and the interface and dash boards are polished and look professional. I hope this project blows up and I open the app one day and find more dope dash boards then I know what to do with.

Good, but frustrating for DIY projects, mainly due to lack of good documentation or examples. Ive updated my review based on experience. The concept is great and the dashboards beautiful. Just what I need. Unfortunately, the documentation and support however are not so great. I'm using RealDash CAN, and whilst the target ids are listed, there is no information on what the valid units are for each, just a handful of examples. I was trying to get this to work on an Odroid C2 board running Marshmallow (listed as compatible in Google Play) through either serial or Bluetooth. Neither would even connect through RealDash despite the connection working absolutely fine via Android terminal apps. I wrote a long request for support via the website and uploaded serial log but got no reply. I eventually got it to work via LAN/IP, but I really preferred to use Serial/BT. Speed indicator: I finally got it working after wasting a lot of time and finding and changing a setting that means that it defaults to using GPS, even when the data is provided in the CAN stream. Why? This should be made clearer in the documentation.

Quite expensive as I had thought purchasing a gallery at $10.98 was equivalent to a full version. Turned out I needed to pay another $10.98 to get a full version. Left a bad impression of being scammed. After paying for full version, the map was shown but still could not navigate nor did it respond to voice. Chose Spotify as my music player but no graphics shown in the dash I bought. Should have allowed trial period for gallery dash boards as once you purchased you couldn't change anymore.

looks good, spent ages making a custom board to find that save does not work. tried for ages to save, closed ap reopened and was all was gone. does not say buying app will give me option to save. just does not work, all access is allowed. can search through phone using load, and has saved my profile data. has location / no data at top of screen and new and save at bottom hit new, name my save and doesn't save anywhere I can find using load

I paid for the full version and I enjoy using this app but I do have a few issues with the calculations. I switched over to a USB elm device and only this and dash command have fuel ranges that I know of, and the one in dash command is accurate. I'm not sure exactly how the fuel level is calculated, I have to enter in when I fill it when in dash command I don't... And the range/mpg is also really off. Saying after a whole day of driving mpg is 3 EDIT: still not working after changing all values

I purchased a theme, then paid an additional £5 for full access, I even paid £70 for a top of the range OBD Link LX reader, but STILL can't access certain basic functions such as indicators and mileage. Disappointed, as I really want to use this in place of my boring analogue dash.

Installed but couldn't get gm can for indicators etc to work, bought full version and then realised had to subscribe to get extras I wanted, after 20 odd quid subscription on top of buying via Google play still can't get it to connect. In total spent 26 quid and doesn't do what it should. Sacked it off and gone back to torque to develop my dash application. Just isn't enough information of explanation, plus its not clear what you are buying, plus to develop this application would be a pain

After Day 1 of using it; Does what I want, little hard to navigate sometimes, don't like the crappy graphics video game looks of the "garage". Just give me a list, I have a PS4 to play racing games. Also still trying to figure out why the codes I'm getting back are similar to codes I'm familiar with (emissions stuff) but NOTHING matches them perfectly. Going to keep messing with it. For price though, using with VeePeak OBDII reader, it's more than I could ask for. Will update in future.

By far the best app to connect with the car by a long shot! the only negative thing i can think of is that i didnt know about this sooner saving me messing around with usb connections on alternative apps. the team are amazing too! if you have a problem, dont uninstall leaving a nad comment, just email them and they help you more than you could hope for! ive never left a review for any app in all my years of having android but i just had to share the fact that this is amazing!
