Reviews for ReciMe: Recipes & Meal Planner

back to re-review great! My recipe reviews no longer save. big problem! they used to save but no longer. otherwise I still love this app. I still wish I could search by ingredient in recipes (not just in the title) and if I could copy and paste ingredients in a batch (rather than entering them one by one).

My experience was great, I loved the app until the free trial was over. Once you processed the annual fee, I can no longer successfully save to the app. Instead, a picture of burnt toast with an error message that says "Oh no! You must creat an account or log in before you can save a recipe to Recime. " so I log in, try to re-save and am brought back to the same error! I will re-rate the app once this is fixed. UPDATE: Recime support identified issue, created update w/in 24hr. rating changed!

Love the concept but it needs work. I primarily have screenshots of recipes and sadly the import misses a lot of things (I'm assuming it's due to the way it's typed). I even manually went in to edit a recipe and it did not save the edit. I tried importing more than one screenshot at a time (because it would take way too long to do them individually) and it kind of mashed it all together into one recipe. I also wish the saved screenshot was more clear so I could reference the original.

It's great until it stops working. I've been using this app to save IG recipes for a week now, and it's wonderful at grabbing the needed ingredients and instructions, whether included in the comments or description or not. It is so hard to cook from the tagged recipes directly, so ReciMe has been a godsend. But as of today, it isn't saving recipes anymore. I'm getting an error message telling me to sign into the app when I'm already signed in. So sad I've lost access to this wonderful tool!

Marketed as able to pull tiktok recipes, but failed to properly import after just the second recipe. Completely missed the cooking time and temperature, which is pretty critical. Maybe they will get better in time, but for now, it failed at its marketed and intended purpose, and I will not pay $$ for an app that is not accurate.

GAME CHANGER. I'm literally obsessed with this app and sad I didn't come up with the idea first. I just wish I could search the recipes by ingredient or key word instead of just the recipe title. Sometimes I have chicken defrosted, but don't have a specific recipe in mind, so that would be helpful! There also seems to be a glitch when you are trying to mass categorize uncategorized recipes- the glitch won't let me deselect preciously selected cookbooks. Overall love it!

I wanted to like it and sign up for the 7 day trial intending on subscribing. The first recipe import worked as advertised. However, two things happened. First, shortly after installing and trying it out on a recipe, I noticed messenger in Facebook stopped working on the Dolfin browser. It still worked on google's browser and the Facebook app. Easy work around but annoying. Later, I tried importing more recipes from different sites - they all failed. It's not usable for me, so I canceled it.

update: I ended up cancelling my subscription before 7d trial ended. I'm ran into too many scenarios of a recipe not importing. This is a promising app. I've only used it for a couple days so far and already run into several instances where the recipe doesn't import. With some reservations, I'm going to go ahead and proceed with the yearly sub and see how it goes. New users interested in this app should understand you have to pay 9.99/mo or 60$/year in order to use the app with 7 day trial.

love this app!!! Ive moved all my recipes to this. There are some quirks. if you are importing from a blog opening the print version of the recpie works better. It will even import recpies from video that have no details in their captions. that is amazing! So far the only thing I would change is being able to search by my star rating. I use this to keep track of what I have made vs not.

I just downloaded this and have been adding recipes. Once loaded it is really as great as it sounds. It even did one from a reel! The only problem I'm having is some will load quickly, but most recipes won't import at all. That is particularly frustrating which is why I'm only giving it 3 stars and won't continue after the free trial unless that starts working better.

It's a cool idea, but the ads said it imports your saved recipes and categorizes them automatically. I was looking forward to this because I have YEARS of saved recipes that need organizing. To have to go through every single video and share it is no different than saving it to a different collection of categories in my saved folder. If auto import ever becomes a thing, I would happily buy the app. But for now, I will have to pass.

I think the idea is fantastic and during my free trial I was able to easily transfer recipes from just about anywhere BUT its not free and it locks you in to a subscription to see the app at all. I do like that it emails you in time letting you know when your free trial ends so you don't accidentally get charged. I would've preferred a free version and give me the option to upgrade if I want to rather than just a trial version.

I hate when apps bury the lead - the lead being that is a subscription. I hate when apps waste your time taking you through a bunch of stuff and hit you with the "trial or pay" at the end. That should be THE FIRST page. The free version doesn't have any of the features that would make this worthwhile, so it's essentially a bait & switch. I wouldn't mind buying an app, but I hate the subscription model - endlessly pouring $$ into something then potentially losing it all if you cancel. No thanks.

App advertising is slightly misleading. You only get a 7-Day free trial and then it goes straight into a year subscription for $60, which of course you can choose not opt in for at the end of the 7 days. I imported a few recipes and found the interface is fun & inviting, but on balance unless you are backlogging hundreds of recipes and planning on using only this app, then yearly subscription seems a bit overkill. I actually prefer to bookmark and then print my recipes, so this wasn't for me.

started out great. organized, imported used it. then i hit the import limit. tried to upgrade, even willing to pay the annual subscription fee, but the app stopped working. couldn't access any of my recipes I've saved over the last month. waste of time. only gave 2 stars because I was able to use it for a month.

I love the concept, and enjoyed the free trial. However, the yearly fee is way too steep, so I canceled the subscription 2 days before the trial ended. Imagine my surprise to find the yearly charge appearing in my checking account!! When I rechecked my subscription info, the cancelation had not gone through. I have spent 25 minutes trying to find out how to get a refund, but no luck as of now. Recime, please help!!

Setup is data farming, way too involved, haven't even been able to verify app works as advertised and asked to rate, found out I hadn't even completed the registration at this point.. First 3 recipies from videos on social media I tried it has failed to completely import the recipe missing ingredients, steps or both. 4th recipe it completely failed to translate. This was the entire point of downloading the app based on the advertising I have seen. 100% failure.

Never worked. Downloaded the app, used the free trial, then pay for the year, all good. Once I went to Pinterest to save all my recipes, the app said that no recipe was detected. So I scrolled down to the actual recipe and tried again, nothing. Sometimes, links go down or get moved, so capturing the recipe is important. This app will not allow me to do that, so it's not helpful for me. I need an app that will grab the recipe and store it, Im not sure what this app does. Canceling now.

$60 a year just to use basic functions of the app? Hard pass. nothing wrong with bookmarking website that have check boxes built into them to use as a shopping list. there's asking a little bit to fund the efforts of a few people designing an app, then there's charging 3x more than it would cost to increase storage and let google AI sort them for free. so many other methods. Don't be a sucker. you could pay as much for a meal tracking app and at least get a breakdown of macros

struggles to pull in recipes sometimes. will have to input a url multiple times for it to find it. also the auto nutrition feature is bad with no way to edit or correct; truly have no clue how it could be so off. my servings over all calories should be 420 ish for this one dish(did the manual math). recime is saying 900 per with no way to check or change. some of the automation is nice but you have to check all of it. the return to the original website feature is nice.
