I've been using the app for years, and as a chef, I have come to rely on Recipe Keeper as an invaluable tool Get the pro version - even if you don't use any of the other features, having cross platform access to your recipes is more than worth it When I cater, I use the app to plan the menu, create a shopping list, and even print up a cookbook for the event My most utilized features are importing recipes from websites, and sharing my recipes with others I constantly recommend it to others

I may had a few mishaps in the beginning with the Recipe Keeper app but with the help of their customer service tech support team I finally accomplished what I set out to do. Most importantly, they went above and beyond the scope of their duties to help me in anyway that they could. More so than any other customer service/tech support I have ever dealt with in decades.

this is awesome, I love it, worth the price great way to collect recipes from Facebook, great to make your own cookbook, with pictures if you choose. FYI 's if using the photos try to keep it not to many pictures, sometimes you have to combine pictures for longer recipes, or many shorter pages. for hand written recipes, make sure you check what it thought you wrote

I love this app! I tried the free version and it was great, so I bought the full version. I love that it's NOT another subscription I have to keep paying for every month. and I love the option to make my own cookbook. my kids are always asking me how to make their favorite meals, so I'm compiling all of their faves into a cookbook as part of their Christmas gifts!

Phenomenal app! It doesn't matter if it's a website, a picture or a file, it formats it perfectly, I can change the quantities, and I can categorize everything exactly how I want. The price is very reasonable, and it's so easy to use! I had previously tried two others that were very expensive and ended up being quite confusing. It might not look as sleek as some others, but I'd rather have easy & I'm sure they'll get there. I could not ask for a better recipe keeper!

I loved this app but since the last update, it has no memory of my paying and is forcing me to pay again. I've contacted support and did everything they ask. It didn't work so I have to pay again every time they update. Not nice. 8/14/25 After doing everything I was told to do, I cannot import my recipes from the zip drive without paying again. Please be aware that when your app updates, or if you want to put it on another device, you will have to pay each time.

I am obsessed. this is the best app of them all. I've tried a few others. but this one takes the cake. I love how you can pay 19.99 for pro, one time, no subscription, and no monthly fee. genus! importing is super easy. There are so many options to do so. also being able to create your own cookbook that's shareable and printable. top ter. awesome job on this app.

I do like this app. Let me start there. It helps me stay organized with dinners. It's a great way to plan meals. Now, to my reasoning for only 3 stars. I've purchased Pro to help make it easier and sync across my devices. Surprise!!!! Android to apple sync is not a thing until you purchase Pro on both devices. I give in and purchase Pro for my iPad. Now, I've purchased Pro TWICE at 19.99+ each, only to find out I'd have to purchase it AGAIN for my computer at 29.99+. NOPE!!! Bummed about that.

This app is amazing, only a one time fee of $19.99 for the pro version. No subscription. I can share my numerous screen shots directly to the app, it pulls all information accurately and keeps the original photo as the recipe picture. This means I can delete the Pic from my album freeing up space and still have a copy stored. You can also share web links to the app, the process is very streamline. You can create meal plans and shopping lists, even your own cookbook. This app is the best!!

Love this app! my only complaint is that whatever account you buy the sharing version on is the account that every device has to be logged into. We bought it thinking Id be able to easily share the recipes with my husband, but then found out that it doesnt matter what email I signed up with, its about what account I bought it from. Still a really great app though. Love how easy it is to transfer recipes from a variety of formats and its easy use! I recommend it to many many people!

This app has been a game changer. I've been able to organize all the recipes I collect from emails and screenshots and prints into one spot, and categorize them neatly, outlining all the ingredients and directions. It'll even copy recipes from subscription-only sites that I hadn't been able to access before. The premium version is a little pricey but one time only and SO worth it. If you collect a lot of recipes, do it!!

AWESOME APP!! Downloaded the app and began adding recipes, but it stopped me at 20 and indicated I would need to purchase to continue. Annoyed at first, but reluctantly paid the $20 one time fee. I'm so glad I did! Let me tell you about this app!! There is a weekly meal planner and a grocery list within the app that work together. I can plan meals for the week, and add ingredients I need to the groc list with ease! I can star favorites for easy access. I can't say enough GREAT things!! LOVE IT!!

honestly it's a really great app. I like that you aren't bombarded with random recipes you can put the ones you really want to try and that you aren't asked to put serving size for every meal on the calendar. you have a lot of different functions that are easy to use and actually helpful, like the saving recipes from website or from photos. or the shopping list you can go to a recipe and add either all the ingredients or just the ones you need

This is the best Recipe keeper ever. I love that it can make it from scanning a photo or even a web site with an article about the recipe. But it will also have a link to the site. You can also adjust the portion sizes to! I use it every time I cook or find a recipe I like. These SO many more features. And it's completely worth paying for! And I'm coming from below poverty level family. It's really worth it.

This is my favorite recipe app. I've tried a few others. This one makes it so easy to pull a recipe from a website, it does ask the work for you. Edited to add: a feature that would be really neat and helpful is to have a place where we can list our items we already have in stock in the freezer, fridge, pantry, etc Still a 5 start app in my book.

After reviewing website, I was under the impression that I could upgrade to Pro and have access to my recipes and share with friends. NOPE! This app's version of "sharing" is to have the other user pay the upgrade fee and then you send them your email and password and have them log into your account. Unbelievable! Misleading marketing cost me over $50. Edited to add: Dev response is the same canned response for other reviews and doesn't address the sharing issue. Don't use this app to share!

Excellent app for keeping recipes, making meal plans and grocery lists. The price is also reasonable and not subscription based. I've tried other, more expensive apps, but this one is my favorite. So easy to import recipes with great accuracy. It even imported a recipe from a picture of a hand written (in cursive) recipe from my mother with only a couple of small errors. I highly recommend it!

Really like the way the app is designed, but I hate the way they charge to sync across devices. It claims that for $20 you can sync across all your devices, and it supports apple, android, and PC. Problem is you can't sign into your premium account without first purchasing the app on each device if the devices are not all on the same platform and use the same *primary* email. I have seen a lot of people say it's worth $5 per device, but it is now $20-30 per device. That is absurd.

This is the best food management tool I've ever used. I can grab recipes online, or enter my own. In the menu area I can move planned meals, or days of meals, around with minimal keystrokes. I can select ingredients from one, or several, meals directly to the shopping portion en masse, or omit ingredients I have on hand. Shopping lists for multiple stores are all in one place. All recipes & changes are backed up online so there's no data loss. Easy to personalize.This app is my fav! +600 recipes

Used to work well, ingredients no longer pair or go into the correct categories. There doesn't seem to be a memory for it within the app either. I shouldn't have to recatagorize things repeatedly. This is supposed to be convenient, it's not. I have over 2k recipes in this app, it used to categorize ingredients for grocery lists automatically, now it sends ingredients to the other category randomly. It doesn't always pair ingredients together, sometimes it does though.
