Description
Been using Reef Widgets for a couple months now. It’s basically a tool for checking data from your aquarium equipment like Apex and Focustronic. Pretty solid app if you’re into monitoring your tank’s stats.
Here’s what you do: you can pull in data from your connected gear and it’ll show you things like water temp, pH, and other levels. And there’s also a dashboard that kinda summarizes it all – that’s pretty cool. And you can get notifications if anything looks off, which is useful.
Look, if you’re really into aquarium stuff, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want a simple way to keep an eye on your tank.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Reef Widgets. I've tested a bunch of aquarium apps and this one's a pretty good side tool if you use Apex or Focustronic gear. The data visualization is clean and it's nice to have everything in one place. But it's not a replacement for the official apps - you still need those for making any adjustments. In my experience, Reef Widgets is best for quick glances at your tank's status. Wouldn't rely on it alone, but it's a handy companion app.
