The content in this app is fantastic! I love it! However, so many oils are not in it. I understand that companies come out with new products constantly. I'm not expecting every one to be on this app, but come on devs! At least update to include the newer EOs! I'll happily give 5 ⭐ then.
Reviews for Ref. Guide for Essential Oils
First of all I would like to mention that this app didn't plagiraze original content as some of YL distributors think, it is based on books, Reference guide of essential oils which was first released in 1996. Autors research is based mostly on Gary Youngs research and others experts, and if you own a book version, you know that as well as how was it published. It was never to be associated with YL in the first place. So any accusations of people who aren't fully educated should simply be ignored. Also those who have been using YL for a long time, would know that those guides were one of first offered and sold by YL distributors even people very close to Dr. Young. So I see no reason for people to be upset over lack of knowledge they present about this guide. As for me, app could be updated with new products, but overall has all basic information about oils, and doesnt require to buy an expensive membership in order to get an app as other publishing company. It is a must for basic knowledge of application and use of essential oils. I personally had been using it since it is been released. The only issue is that ever time i change my phone I have to buy a new one as there is no way to transfer it :( I still give 5 stars because it is a very needed app.
Had to pay usd $11.99 for this as a Lifetime purchase … it used to be good, but now it’s not anymore. It’s wanting me to pay more money to keep the app on a cellphone I no longer have! I’ve not used the app for Years. I DO NOT WANT IT ANYMORE ! MAKE IT GO AWAY PLEASE!
This app worked well when I first got it, but in the last 6 months, oil suggestions have been disappearing (the topical, ingest or aromatic icon is still there). I reached out to the developer weeks ago and got no response. I am very disappointed in this app as I spent money on it and relied on it a lot.
Not worth the money I spent. 😨 Hello, I bought this app and I'm not sure WHY it's NOT up to date on everything!? It's missing several oils I use DAILY, also the information about the oils. It's also missing up to date information. I should not have to pay for the app when it's OUTDATED. I can say it's 2 YEARS outdated. I have been buying from Young Living for 2 years now. =As many people who buy this app there isnt a good enough reason why its OUTDATED. It says it's been UPDATED. LIE!=
I've used app for years because your one time payment of $6.99 regard how many times my phone upgraded. My phone literally died last Monday am, could not activate to turn on. Forced to get new phone... not able to sink my phone for data--forced to manually load each app. I have loved your app & use frequently, share often. Highly Disappointed/ Frustrated in your change to yrly subscription, you no longer honor the already purchased app. Please restore your previous app availability. Not 5 stars.
While it is a helpful app overall, the newly redesigned version left out a lot of very helpful material therefore the app becomes a lot less useful for example in no longer list the chemical constituents of each oil and feels like it has a much shorter list of different ailments.
Like the other people who reviewed this app, the list of Oils is not loading properly. I'm using the Android version. If you look at the app's 2nd screenshot (on google play) the oil names are not displaying. It only displays the AT superscript text on a coloured background.
When I first downloaded this app I loved it. So much information and so helpful but recently I updated my app and honestly do not like it at all anymore. On the combination oils it no longer tells which oils are in it and what each one is for. Needs to go back to the old version.
I loved this app and recommended it to at least 20 people. I orginally purchased this app then got a new phone. It didn't transfer so I had to purchase again. Now, they updated and I can't get info. It asks if I want to report the problem and closes the app.. I have sent several requests and e-mails but have not had any response.
