So here's my honest take on Relive: Run, Ride, Hike & more. I've tested a bunch of fitness/outdoor apps and this one's pretty solid. The 3D video feature is really cool and it's easy to use - just track your activity and the app does the rest. The free version has some limitations, like only being able to make one video per activity, but it's still worth a download if you want to spice up your outdoor posts. Not as feature-rich as some paid apps, but it gets the job done for casual users.

Description

Been using Relive: Run, Ride, Hike & more for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you create these really cool 3D video stories of your outdoor activities – running, cycling, hiking, skiing, you name it. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: Just go out, track your activity, take some photos, and the app will put it all together into this 3D video that shows your route in this cool landscape. And there’s also an option to add music and captions, which is pretty neat. And the free version lets you make one video per activity, which is nice.

Look, if you’re into sharing your outdoor adventures with friends, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the free version can be a bit limiting and the app can be a little glitchy at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want to make your hikes and rides look more epic.

So far it isn't as accurate or as useable as I had hoped. For example, tracking down the South Kaibab trail it gives a view point that doesn't allow you...

Unreliable ... it seems to have trouble maintaining the tracking during my ride/hike. When it works, it's cool to watch the video, which will take an hour or two to...

Cool idea, but restrictive. The first thing i tried to do was look back at some of my old routes, so i picked my birthday, and it doesn't allow imports...
