So far it isn't as accurate or as useable as I had hoped. For example, tracking down the South Kaibab trail it gives a view point that doesn't allow you to see your actual path because there's a ridgeline in the way. It also freezes up and stops recording when you lose signal. With that being said, It's a really cool app and I'm definitely keeping it. These bugs should be easy fixes.

Unreliable ... it seems to have trouble maintaining the tracking during my ride/hike. When it works, it's cool to watch the video, which will take an hour or two to produce, so you need wifi at the end of the ride to get the 3D video. But, mostly, it doesn't fully track the event, so you end up with a lot of straight line segments that are meaningless.

Cool idea, but restrictive. The first thing i tried to do was look back at some of my old routes, so i picked my birthday, and it doesn't allow imports of more than 30 days ago. This seems unnecessary! Why should it care!!!? I did pick a more recent date, and loved that it could find the relevant pictures off my phone (there's a bug somewhere in the app for selection pics), but showing the video to someone in her 70s told me she couldn't see the pics as they flash by too quick ...

Love this. Great/easy way to share/brag about your adventures. I like the photo integration too; great way to add some context to memorable points along your route. Had a problem briefly when I set Relive to access device location only while using the app. It needs to be allowed all the time, or it will stop tracking when your phone is in standby. So MY fault, and something for others to look out for.

Free version doesn't have much functionality. Took lots of photos through the app during a trip and none were incorporated into the video. Only had the aerial view with animation of the route. Couldn't make any edits before the video was created or afterward without paying. Couldn't figure out how to record video into the app. Only thing I really got out of it was a drained phone battery.

The app wouldn't even let me get signed up, all I kept getting was "Whoops! Something went wrong, please try again!" over and over again. Tried signing up with Google, tried signing in with email, brand new password, username; same thing, error. No point in keeping the app if I can't sign up and use it, so had to uninstall 🤷‍♀️.... sadly disappointed.

When I first used it, I would have rated it a 1 (or uninstalled). It had to be set to always track (versus only when app is in use) because for some reason when the phone went to sleep it stopped tracking otherwise. BUT, After a lot of back and forth with the authors (they were very responsive) and some testing on betas with them, the latest version where you can prevent the phone from sleeping is the best of both worlds. I have it set to track only when in use and to keep the phone awake when recording. Kudos to the developers for working with me and correcting the issue I was having!

Programming on the app is Outstanding, if you're looking for a progress tracker this has to be the one. Click the cam shutter twice it's designed like a digital camera to focus the lense and I liked it, biked 55 miles. I'll consider paying for pro to support them, I'm satisfied with what you get for free and they don't push you to pay for anything, heck I once downloaded a "free" app and couldn't even use it unless I paid. Relive is different.

Expensive app and not enough of the money is being put into development. App is very slow to access photos of my S23 Ultra these days (the only app to be that way) and uses 40% more battery than GaiaGPS when hiking. Numerous videos simply fail to create. The website recommends not using the number of photos that are allegedly (and sometimes they are) supported. Tons of wasted time trying to redo videos. After a few years of have it, I will not be renewing. Will review product on my website.

A fantastic and easy way to show others your route in 3d and add photos with text. It is unfortunately not clear that you need to set your profile to public in order to allow others to see your videos without having to sign up for Relive themselves. It would also be good if the app slows down for photos with longer text, or allows the user to set how long a photo should be shown. Plus the ability to use your own music where it does not infringe copyright.

Bug in import routine where it can't handle certain characters in file name (they could fix by putting quotes around filename variable). Quite a long ad at the end of each animation. Satellite data pieced together from two very different sets makes it all blocky & incongruant. Update: Completely changed the app; everything behind a paywall now. Uninstalled.

Used to be my favorite tracking app but they've taken away nearly all the free features I liked. Can't add photos, metrics, or your own title to the videos anymore. I understand you want to add more features and that costs money but my entire family is deleting the app now because you took away the features that made it fun to share with others. It's also pretty inaccurate on the elevation gain compared to strava. overestimated my climb by 1000ft!

Works but accuracy can vary widely. Despite the route being captured, my route was completely wrong. The app showed a correct route on the map, but 3D was completely wrong. For a pricey subscription, this app should work better. My hike across a national boundary between Portugal & Spain was utterly wrong. A day lost. Feel dumb for having purchased the premium. Look for another app to do the job.

If there was an option for zero stars i would have chosen it. I used to love this app to record my hikes each week with photos and titles but now they have removed all of that from the free version so I'll also be deleting my account as well because theres no point in keeping it if I can't at least record where I've been. Do better and at least put back the options that was there before the update.

This app used to be good a year ago but now its trash. Firstly, they incessantly bother you about joining a subscription service, literally every time you open the app or finish an activity. And then on top of that, they won't even allow you to title activities anymore! Without paying! THATS WILD. Deleting and looking elsewhere. Don't bother unless you like wasting your time being inundated with ads.

They nerfed the free version and jacked up the price of subscriptions. Downloaded thinking I was going to get the software I used years ago... wound up instantly converting to a free alternative instead. I would gladly pay for an app like this, but making it an overpriced subscription and basically forcing people to buy it or move on, didn't work on me. I moved on.

All apps have features that used to be available in the free version, but now you must pay for the 'premium' version to get, and this app is no different. The free version doesn't even allow you to add any pictures at all now; whereas, it used to at least let you add a few pics. Also the video angle used to be dynamic, but is now static. I used to love this app for sharing to social media, but now it is completely worthless, unless you want to for pay the price for the 'upgrade' version.

My hiking trip only records the the paths and no photos were added in (i did the subscription). it's painful to load moments at each town which is worth 2 weeks. Trimming routes especially the earlier part will take forever or probably not working at all as the wheel keeps turning for the longest time. i even left the phone alone for 10 min and it's either go back to start or it's still 'loading'. The app has deteriorated over the years. short hikes for less than a day is prob at best.

I've used this app for years and it used to be a great app but unfortunately they removed all functionality from the free version. Now you cannot even change the title of the video or add a single photo unless you purchase the paid version. I'll probably just delete it after I find something else. I don't use it enough to justify the paid version and it is expensive.

I used to love this little app for the cute video maps complete with a few photos that one took along the route. now they have taken away the option to have photos in the maps unless you pay $40 a year. lame. would be a five-star app otherwise, as of right now the free version is super lame and not worth bothering with.
