I’ve been using Remote For Samsung Smart TV for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that turns your Android phone into a remote control for your Samsung TV. Pretty solid if you’re like me and always losing the actual TV remote.

Here’s what you can do: there’s full control over your TV – switch channels, adjust volume, change settings, all from your phone. It’s got a dedicated button to quickly cast photos and videos from your gallery too, which is pretty cool. And you can access all your favorite streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video right from the app – no more jumping between different apps on the TV.

Look, if you’ve got a newer Samsung smart TV, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of this. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a little clunky at times and the app crashed on me a couple times. But overall it does the job and saves me from constantly hunting for the real remote. Worth checking out if you need a good TV control app.
