Description
Been using Remote Surveillance Camera for a couple months now. It’s basically a video security app that turns your phone or tablet into a home security camera. Pretty solid if you’re into that kinda thing.
Here’s what you do: you can set it up to monitor your place and it’ll record video whenever it detects motion. There’s also two-way audio so you can chat with whoever’s there. And the app’s got remote control – you can switch the camera, turn on the flashlight, adjust the quality, all that. Took me a while to figure some of that out but it’s pretty useful.
Look, if you’re into home security and want an easy way to keep an eye on your place, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the motion detection can be a bit finicky sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Remote Surveillance Camera. I've tested a bunch of home security apps and this one's pretty good for the basics. The video quality is decent and I like the remote control options. It's not the most advanced system out there, but for a simple DIY setup it works well. The motion alerts can be hit or miss though, and the free version has annoying ads. But if you don't mind that, it's a pretty solid choice.
