It's very buggy! Annoying to navigate, nothing saves... not favorite properties, not preferences, pretty much nothing. I tried the app after having an almost equally annoying experience on their website, hoping the app would be better than their website... sadly not so much. 😕
Reviews for Rentler
← Back to RentlerAmazing app. Best experience for finding a place to rent. Easy to sort and map where I am looking and applying was easy. Wish there was a way to schedule and do self showing from the app.
Idk why it always sayz "can't connect to internet" or "no internet connection" whilst the internet connectivity is excellent and I gave it all the permission that needed including background and unrestricted data... All the other apps don't have a problem with connecting to internet... Rather look up the website through Chrome and fight with that
It felt too expensive to begin with. Now, they've increased their fees when many are locked into using the app for the rest of their lease. This recent fee increase comes with no improvements.
One of the recent updates included push notification ads for apartments, with nowhere to turn that off. I've loved the app and all the updates until this totally ruined it for me.
Phone support hasn't ever answered inside or outside business hours. They have some robotic voice prompt to leave a voicemail but it doesn't inspire much confidence. I applied for an apartment a week ago and I'm losing the opportunity because the landlady is asking why they haven't completed it yet. 6 days, and no email responses from Rentler. I'm not sure how they've maintained being the biggest and haven't been usurped by another company. Maybe they got too big to fail. Like fb or such.
SCAM Charged me $45 to put in applications and won't let me apply anywhere.
Every single property post on fb makes communication within the app easy and fast. Rentler does exactly the opposite by forcing you to email communication. When you are looking and talking to many landlords, you will easily forget what property rentler is managing, since in the emails there are no pics of the property. You guys think like a company, not like customers.
This is a FANTASTIC concept that simplifies the horror that is the housing market today. Unfortunately it's still brand new, and so it's working out the problems and getting the word out to landlords still. Would love to see this take off though and get Rentler applications accepted in more places, that's a big draw.
If this app can't find my location without an account when I open it every single time it sends me to places in provo utah, then I go to the main page and.. wow, it knows where I am. I don't think I need to give it unlimited access to use my location but that's what it looks like. So I guess I don't need this app, So many others to choose from.
It's great for finding places. it kind of takes money for no reason. They offer a service to submit applications for $30 a month. The only problem is that most renters are off-site, so Rentler's service is rendered almost useless.
people that create these apps should be made to need and also use them once in a while.. this app doesn't tell you ANYTHING about the listing other than its location.. it has the ability and space to list info, but the spaces are all empty or filled by "N/A".. Annoying and useless. does have lots of listings, but it doesn't know what is available and what isn't. don't waste the time..
Cannot make payments on the property you are renting through the app. You have to go to the webpage to manage the place you are already living, which is the one thing we liked about the site. Makes the app limited and almost useless except in the short term. Make the app fully functional, and I'd give it 5 stars.
I truly hate this app and platform. It doesn't allow you to have any organization at all. I can heart properties but I can't see the list of favorites. I can go into list view but if I go into a detailed view of a property, if I go back I have to start all over at the top instead of where I left off. Instead of a full view of the list I have to constantly hit view more to see the list which is frustrating, especially because youre back at the top when you exist detailed view. How frustrating!
Using it on a Google pixel 3 and literally nothing works. You can't see any of the options at the bottom of the screen, the map doesn't load, and no listings show. Also I'm a landlord with a listing on rentler and they're don't appear to be any options for landlords using the app, though I can't say for sure since I can't actually see all of the menu options.
My experience is seeing a listing for x amount. Less than a week or maybe a day or so new.. call and apartment isn't listed at such price anymore.. please find a way to control accurate prices (Control in app pricing not actual apartment pricing) there is 0 pricing accountability from an account to lie about pricing.
Perfect app that allows me to search my housing needs in the area. I love the filter ability to narrow my search results.
Great app. I wish it would automatically return me to the home page after sending the "request a tour" button. It was pretty confusing for the app to say "your message has been sent" and then still be on the same page where you're supposed to send a message. I sent a message 3 times before realizing the app wasn't glitching, I was just sending more messages. Also is it normal for the app to send more messages automatically while you're sleeping?
Great app for tenants! I just wish they had one for landlords.
Fine overall, but there's not sort function for results. Kinda wild given the functionality is available in the web app.
