Been using ResX for a couple months now. It’s basically an app where you can give up reservations you can’t use and grab reservations from other people. Pretty solid if you’re into last-minute dining plans.

There’s a bunch of cool features – you can submit a reservation you can’t make, and then other users can claim it. And there’s a social feed where you can see what reservations are available nearby. It’s got a slick interface and it’s easy to use, though it took me a while to figure out all the different options.

Look, if you’re the kind of person who’s always scrambling for a good dinner spot, you’ll probably love this app. It’s not perfect – the selection can be a bit limited in some areas – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want to stop stressing about making restaurant plans.

So here's my take on ResX. I've tested a bunch of these reservation apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The core concept works well - you can easily grab or give up last-minute spots at popular places. And the social feed is a nice touch and makes it easy to see what's available nearby. On the downside, the selection is a bit limited in my area and I've had a few hiccups with the interface. But for a free app, it's not bad at all. If you're into snagging hard-to-get restaurant reservations, this is definitely worth a download.

This app no longer functions, the splash screen remains up indefinitely after opening. If this is fixed I'll update this review
