I’ve been using Retro Mode – Icon Pack (Light) for a couple months now. It’s basically a pixel art icon pack that lets you give your phone a super nostalgic 90s vibe. Pretty solid app if you’re into customizing your home screen and making it look unique.
Here’s what you can do – there’s over 4,000 retro-style icons to choose from, and they get updated monthly with new ones. You can also use the 15 included wallpapers and 6 different widgets like a digital clock, analog clock, and calendar. Took me a while to figure out all the widget options but they’re pretty useful.
Look, if you’re into that old-school pixel art aesthetic, you’ll probably love this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a bit annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job of giving your phone a really cool retro look. Worth checking out for sure.

So here's my honest take on Retro Mode - Icon Pack (Light). I've tested a bunch of icon packs and customization apps, and this one's honestly one of the better ones I've used. The pixel art is super clean and well-designed, and there's just a ton of variety with over 4,000 icons. Not gonna lie, it took some time to get everything set up how I wanted, but once it's all dialed in, it looks great. Only real downside is the ads can be a bit intrusive, but you can remove them by paying. Overall, if you're into that retro aesthetic, this is a pretty solid choice.
