Great app. I love this theme. I was able to set up everything the way I wanted without any problem. All my widgets work as they should. I had a question, and the creator emailed me back the same day. Great communication from her.
As an ex 8bit demoscene member I highly recommend that icon pack as well other items from that creator like wallpapers and weather widget. Some tweaks required but it is just polishing the product.
My phone feels a lot more delightful now. July 2025 edit: I had some problems related to app hibernation but after ensuring that Retro Mode could update again, I'm pleased to report that this app is even better than before! Kudos for your hard work, I love how my phone has looked for the past year+ now :)
Only came here for the icons and was surprised to discover this also includes the best widget to display time, date, battery and even individual parameters. The configuration is extremely user-friendly for the huge amount of editable details and it even looks great! I wish all my apps were like this one. A big thank you to the developers! ❤️
one time purchase is great. style is awesome. but I'm having issues with clock widget not updating despite changing the battery optimization settings. I'm on pixel 9a android 16. EDIT: Moertel helped me fix it, you have to tap the text next to the slider to set it correctly to "Unoptimized" AND then reboot your phone. Seems to fixed! 5-stars!
Your really worth my review as I am super lazy about reviews unless I specifically know the person 😖 but this artist deserves my money lol great concept, great execution. The theme works great at creating that arcade screen of the 90's feel. Its just all around a great ball of love and effort. I love that you even go above and beyond to compile new icons by request so the buyer feels like they are part of the process on customizing 👍 you've done a phenomenal job, hope it helps to hear it!
I love everything about it, but the clock widget still get stuck and lags behind on my Infinix g50 pro phone despite every troubleshooting I did, including following all the steps told in the app itself and by following every solved issues everyone else had with this app. dev please fix, really love the app 🙏 EDIT: The dev patiently helped me go through all sorts of troubleshooting and made the widget works. thank you so much dev, I truly love the app.
Followed the instructions after installation. While icons and wallpapers work, the clock widget is always 10-14 minutes behind before refreshing to the correct time. And the calender has been consistently behind by 1 day before refreshing (the correct day refreshes once I remove the widget, and put the widget back on).
I bought impulsively for some possibly cyberpunk looking icons not knowing I'd get so much more! I love the widgets and how the customization works in the app -- highly customizable whilst still being fairly simple. This and the weather app was everything I didn't know I needed for my setup. Looking forward to the promised feature updates, but as it stands, COMPLETELY worth it 👌🏼
