I have recently downloaded the app and so far all I can say is it is okay, as I have not used it that much. I will continue using it for a week or so and will write a thorough review. I am satisfied so far.
Reviews for Reverse Phone Lookup — rLookup
← Back to Reverse Phone Lookup — rLookupWhen other apps can't, this app can have id'ed a few unwanted calls for me, easy to use no hassle... continue still using has solved lots of who what where and when o highly recomend the map features helps alot only its competition would be True caller if you pay the inappropriate on this True caller all ready has but this app is very accurate and it will help you find what your looking for at least 50% more at finding for free service True caller is just not as up to speed at reverse lookup
It says, free, look up and it's not, and it's supposed to be from Google. well, you tell me, where? in your app, where it says this free, everything on your at has a price. Get real
This would be a way better App if the Phone Numbers were Updated because every number I look up, it shows at least 2 to 3 years past do therefore it is not Current.
It works - easy to use, allows pasting. Gives you the owner and approximate caller location. Only used it once so far so maybe deserves 5 stars.
just a 4* until I have more experience with it. I'm having fun with it so far. accuracy could be a lil tighter but it's still pretty dämn accurate.
almost great but even with the paid version I get a "too many look ups, try again later" message there wasn't anywhere specifying that there would be a limit, specially when I opted for the paid version, how long do I have to wait before it's "later" exactly?
So far, this app has given me no problems, it's quick, and informative. I most likely will purchase the inexpensive premium version.
decent but only 5 per 24 hours? scammers call 12+ times per day. :Response to dev: 4.99 a month is steep considering what this is. lower the price and I'd say it'd be worth it. consider the fact that basically everything in life is a subscription service and how it all ads up. for something like this something like 1.99\mo would be fair and feasible. you're charging 3\4 of an Amazon prime membership, which includes a lot more than a scam call blocker.
I know for 100% accuracy that the number I used it not connected to the person you guys listed in fact that number has been under his name for many years and I have used other apps and they have been correct with the right information
great app. I just type in a phone number and PRESTO WHAMMO SHABANG.....nothing. Couldn't get the thing to do anything except be default app for caller id and filtering. Which does absolutely nothing either. This app is a joke and a total waste of time and energy. If I could erase the single star I certainly would.
so I paid for the $3.99 upgrade,I've got 31 phone calls and out of the 31 only 2 of which could this app give me additional information on.i was getting the same service for the free version.and no customer service person to email, call, texted nothing on any kind of customer service.waste of money
Great app especially the free version to get some basic info on whose calling. It will give the location, the type of call (landline, cellular) and sometimes the name associated. Free version is with ads, but they are very few.
Now I'm gonna have to change my review! My last review was negative for good reasons! But now, everything seems to be corrected. App works beautifully and catches every unwanted call now! It also gives the correct location of the incoming number. Before, every number I looked up, including my own was showing to originate out of Ruston, Louisiana, which was way off! But now they corrected this issue and so far, it's working so good, I uninstalled "Hiya" because rLookup was catching it first!
First really, totally free reverse phone lookup app/web I've found. Not a scam! So far it has provided the correct info for mobile and landline. Only complaint is only info for 800 numbers is that it's a toll free number. Don't need lookup for that. Since these are usually the scam numbers, would be helpful to know name of the number owner. It does have an option to report number. No info on what that does. No ads so far. Wish it had name and or address lookup. Good job!
Updated version. Huge mistake! Now there is a 'thing' to set app as default scam filter over top the page you need to actually reverse look up a caller's number. Every single time. Not worth the effort to clear it since there is no option to close that overlay. Think I'm going to delete app and try another. Too many numbers didn't have info for anyhow.
Hit and miss with lookup results. Tested it with valid numbers of some contacts. It showed the correct info for several of them. With the others, unfamiliar names and locations. Guessing, but perhaps the information gathering service companies this app interfaces with to pull its public domain data from are the same as what some of the online-fee based lookup providers use as well. They aren't always accurate either.
NOT PERFECT, BUT THE BEST I'VE EVER SEEN... I mean, I've got no complaints. it's a solid app. A lot more accurate than anything I've previously used. Sure, it's not going to pull a name for every number you look up, but in my experience it pulled up about 80% of them. More often times than not I got a name, and my friends numbers that I used just to test the accuracy all came back with the correct names. I usually don't review, but I had to give em props. He*kuva job!!
this "free"app is a total sham. It has not been accurate once. they only want you to pay either a subscription or by selling the information they get from your devices. I have tried the free version for 4 mths now, it has never been accurate. It reveals an area the calls supposedly comes from. Like that helps, when it gives a name of a caller instead of an area it has been 100% inaccurate and after installing the app sells calls has dominated my power. Delete the app. it's dangerous.
I absolutely love this app! exclamation I have been using it for about a year, just the basic free version. yes, there are ads. just sometimes it's annoying but almost every single time it gives me the name that the phone number is registered to and my deduction is when you're getting a lot of experiment ads but everything is just the same the same. don't buy into it. give it a moment. exit out. carry on with your work. works like a dream
