Description
I’ve been using RFID Reader for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you connect to RFID readers and scan RFID tags. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: you connect the app to your RFID reader, then you can just tap the read button and it’ll scan any tags in range. There’s also a feature where you can see the tag details, which is pretty cool. And you can even save the tag data – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.
Look, if you work with RFID systems or just want to play around with this tech, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the setup can be a bit finicky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on RFID Reader. I've tested a bunch of RFID apps and this one's one of the better ones. It's got a nice clean interface and the core scanning functionality works really well. And the ability to save tag data is super handy too. But it's not without its issues - the initial setup can be a pain if your RFID reader isn't compatible, and the lack of tablet support is a bummer. Overall though, if you need an easy way to work with RFID, this is a pretty good option.
