I've tested a bunch of business communications apps and RingCentral is one of the more robust and feature-rich ones I've come across. And the AI tools like transcription and note-taking are a nice touch, and the call management features are really handy. Sure, it has a few quirks here and there, but for a one-stop-shop comms platform, RingCentral is a pretty solid option in my experience.

Pros

  • Tons of features in one app - calling, messaging, video, faxing, etc.
  • AI-powered transcription and note-taking are surprisingly useful
  • Call management tools like auto-attendant, forwarding, and screening
  • Unlimited calling in US and Canada is a nice perk
  • Integrates with other business apps like Salesforce, Slack, etc.

Cons

  • Mobile app can be buggy and glitchy at times
  • Learning curve is a bit steep with all the features
  • Some of the AI tools are still in early access and a bit rough
  • Gets pricey if you need the full enterprise features

Description

I’ve been using RingCentral for a couple months now. It’s basically an all-in-one app that handles your business phone, messaging, video calls, and more. Pretty solid if you’re running a small business or need a full suite of comms tools.

Here’s what you can do with it: There’s unlimited calling in the US and Canada, plus you can send and receive texts and even faxes right from the app. It’s got some cool AI features too, like live transcription and note-taking that’s actually pretty useful. And the call management stuff is great – you can set up an auto-attendant, call forwarding, and all that.

Look, if you’re juggling a lot of business communications, you’ll probably like RingCentral. It’s not perfect – the mobile app can be a little buggy sometimes – but overall it does the job well. Worth checking out if you need an all-in-one solution.
