I’ve been using ROBO Pro Coding for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you design and code your own fischertechnik® TXT 4.0 Controller model. There’s a bunch of programming options – you can go with graphical programming or even use Python to write your own code. The app has beginner, advanced, and expert learning levels so you can work at your own pace. And there’s a bunch of pre-made program examples to get you started.
The coolest part is that you can save your programs locally or up in the cloud. So you can access ’em from anywhere and even share with other users. Plus there’s an interface test to quickly check if your sensors and actuators are working right.
Look, if you’re into robotics and coding, you’ll probably really like this app. It’s not perfect – the cloud sync can be a bit finicky and the UI isn’t the most intuitive. But overall it does the job and it’s a pretty solid option for building and programming your own robot models.
