Been using Rock & Crystal Identifier – ID for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you take a photo of a rock or mineral and it’ll tell you what it is. Pretty solid if you’re into geology and the natural world.

Here’s what you do: you can either snap a pic of the rock you found or just upload an image, and the app will identify it. There’s also a cool search feature where you can browse through thousands of different types of rocks and gems. Took me a while to figure that part out but it’s actually pretty useful.

So here's my honest take on Rock & Crystal Identifier - ID. I've tested a bunch of geology/rock ID apps and this one's one of the better ones. This app did not identify a single crystal correctly. The first one i tried 5 times and got 5 different answers, none of them correct. Don't waste your money.
