Been using Rock Identifier: Stone ID for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you take a photo of a rock and it’ll tell you what kind it is. Pretty solid if you’re into geology and that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do – you just snap a pic of the rock and the app analyzes it. There’s also a database with info on different rocks, which is pretty cool. And you can save your rock photos and collection in the app, which is a nice feature.

So here's my honest take on Rock Identifier: Stone ID. I've tested a bunch of geology and nature apps, and this one's pretty solid overall. The rock identification is impressive when it works, and I like how you can build your own collection in the app. But it does have some issues - the accuracy isn't 100% reliable, and it can be a bit glitchy at times. Still, for a free app it's worth downloading if you're into this kind of thing.
