So here's my take on the Roku Remote Control: TV Remote app. I've used a bunch of different TV remote apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The ability to cast content straight from your phone is super convenient, and the built-in keyboard makes searching way easier than using the regular Roku remote. The interface could be a bit more polished, but it does the job. If you've got a Roku TV, I'd say this is worth downloading.

Description

Been using the Roku Remote Control: TV Remote app for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you control your Roku TV straight from your phone – no extra hardware needed. Pretty solid if you’re into streaming and smart home stuff.

Here’s what you can do with it: you can change channels, adjust the volume, browse and launch apps, all from your phone. There’s also a built-in keyboard which makes searching way easier. And you can even cast videos, photos, and music from your phone to the TV – just connect both to the same WiFi network.

Look, if you’ve got a Roku TV, you’ll probably find this app really useful. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it gets the job done. Worth checking out if you’re tired of using that tiny Roku remote.
