Since the upgrade I don't receive notifications for my new messages. It keeps crashing and quite often it doesn't recognise that I am online (network and WiFi is fine for anything else). When I click to read my messages it shows white boxes. I have to click on contacts and back to messages in order for messages to appear. I have been using gayromeo, now planet romeo for almost 15 years and I am very disappointed with this app.

Extrenely frustated with this app. This app will block your account silently without any notice. You keep on sending messages, no one receives it while you keep on wondering why guys are not reading your messages. Support is non existent. No one listens to you. Ads do work perfectly even in blocked accounts. Stop wasting time and look for alternatives.

Very unreliable for messaging and ALWAYS has been!! Whenever I get a message from someone I NEVER get a notification!!! Yes I have message notifications enabled, no notifications have been blocked. I have paid for the Plus version too!!! This is nuts!!! This has been going on for MONTHS AND MONTHS and it's VERY ANNOYING because it STILL HASN'T BEEN FIXED!!!! When will it finally be fixed!?!? I am NOT the only one having this problem either!!!

It has used to be a good app . Now too many fake profiles. A lot of those who put London in their location, are hundreds of miles away, often in Russia, asking for your email right after the first hello. I don't believe the developers are actually doing anything about it. Instead, they give you a limit of users you can block and ask to pay for extra. And this limit runs out in a day if you check every message you receive.

Every single time since rejoining earlier in the year, I receive the 'photo uploading' notification...its so annoying as all my photos successfully uploaded to my profile months ago. I contacted via email to ask for help...told to log out/in, install updates, delete photos and reupload and when none of those worked, the staff member said that a technician would contact me...4 months later and no contact...and still the 'photo uploading' notification appears, every single time I open the app 🤬

Seems like a scam these days. They want me to load a selfie with a hand written note showing my username and user id number to activate my account. Crazy request. I'll be on other hookup apps from now on.

Verification is straight up broken. It sends the link to your email but only shows a blank page when clicked. Tried on phone and PC + other browsers.
