Description
Been using Rover – Dog Boarding & Walking for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that connects you with pet sitters and dog walkers in your area. Pretty solid if you’re a dog owner who travels a lot or just needs someone to walk your pup during the day.
Here’s what you can do: you can browse through profiles of local pet sitters, read their reviews, and book services right in the app. There’s also a GPS tracking feature so you can see where your dog is during their walk. And the app has an easy messaging system so you can chat with your sitter about any special instructions or updates.
Look, if you’re a dog parent who needs reliable pet care, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the booking process can be a bit confusing at first – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want some peace of mind when you can’t be there for your furry friend.
Editor Opinion
I've tested a bunch of pet care apps and Rover is one of the better ones. The selection of sitters is pretty impressive - tons of 5-star reviews and you can see photos/bios to find the right match for your dog. And the GPS tracking is a nice added bonus so you know your pup is safe. But I will say the app can be a little glitchy at times and the pricing isn't always super transparent. Still, it's a reliable service that gives me confidence when I need to book a sitter or walker.
