Description
Been using RTD MyRide for a couple months now. It’s basically a mobile app for managing your public transit rides. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: You can add funds to your account and use the app to scan and ride RTD buses and trains. There’s also a fare capping feature which is pretty cool – it automatically gives you the best ticket price so you don’t have to worry about that. And the improved MyRide smart card is a nice option if you want friends or family to use your account.
Look, if you’re a frequent RTD rider, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the app can be a bit buggy sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want an easy way to manage your transit rides.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on RTD MyRide. I've tested a bunch of transit apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The mobile ticketing and fare capping features work really well and save you time and money. And the app design is clean and easy to use too. But it's not without its issues - I've had it glitch out on me a few times which is annoying. And the UI can be a little clunky in spots. Still, if you ride RTD a lot, this is probably the best app for managing your trips.
